I liked it and that's not because I'm a biased team mate, either. A good solid roleplay, as gritty and vicious as I've come to expect from TITAN. It's exactly like TITAN to be angry and crude, he'll rip the shit out of anyone (literally and physically) and I saw no harm in what he said. After all, it's a roleplay - you're just playing a role.

I liked it. You got the tension between TITAN and his Empire team mates over well, as well as the fact that despite that they ultimately have to work together for the "greater cause". As for the talking trash about people, well that's just part and parcel of being a heel in efedding, especially with a character like TITAN who doesn't care about anybody but himself and truly believes nobody is better than him. All in all good job.

Danny liked it but damn man even with bashing my character i loved it. To me its a ppv quality rp so i'm not gonna make suggestions at to what to improve. what i will say is I love how you everyone in their rps has tried to pair up whose going to take out who. I read everyone's quickly to get a feel of how i should pick apart my opponents and you and jace gave me great ideas. Thank you, great job, and even though we're opponents good luck

Okay, I have a big series coming at you guys. I have begun a storyline entitled "Obstacles." It will be a 2 part series. (Heads Up, Chris.) I don't think I have done that many with this character before in a one show period. I also am trying to take things back a bit old school and put up an rp like us folks did in when I first joined the EUW. Back then the roleplays were strong in story but still balanced the match relevance a decent amount. Let me know what you guys think? Did I succeed?
This series will pretty much have Titan finally come of age so to speak. His drive has never been stronger and more focused as he zeros in on the World Championship. Titan also becomes a bit of a leader in the Empire locker room as the series progresses. There you go.
Part 1 is up.www.euw23.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=rpsnv&action=display&thread=5601

very powerful stuff. Titan's hunger and anger really come through - not only Sabora but I think Terry better watch out. (how the *bleep* did that freak get out of jail in the first place? ) lol

Well, I've read them. Once you said it was a two-parter, I left feedback until they were both up, perhaps others have done the same? As for the roleplays, well, they're what we've come to expect from TITAN. Angry, gritty, focused and strong. All attributes that apply to the character as much as the writing itself and there's no shortage of them this time out. Got to say, having read a fair bit of your stuff, these do seem to be a bit of a step up. Now, I don't know if you actually were holding back or not, but this time around it really does feel like you're determined to win. It's as much a part of the style of writing as it is to the content. TITAN is determined, he's lost twice before and as this is his last chance, he needs to win. There's a sense of urgency that really comes through in this effort. It's a great effort, the two parts are certainly good enough to win a title in my book, but it all depends on what Sabora does. It's an excellent roleplay and I can't see anything wrong with it. The opening to the first roleplay, with TITAN facing Brett Cross is some of the most well-written stuff I've read in a long time. Ever considered writing a few matches?

Thanks you two. I am glad somebody read my series. Yeah, I guess I did push harder this time around. I don't know, this match means a lot to me. In truth, not because of the championship at all. I guess I just needed to know that I still have "it", you know? That's probably why the feedback was so important to me.
As for match writing, yeah I have some experience in that, lol. I am happy focusing on my writing now though. I got sort of burnt out with the match writing stuff. Thank you Skye and Jace for responding to my plea for feedback. It means a lot to me.
And Skye, to answer your question as to how he got out of jail.. "Good things come to those who wait".

Both parts were fucking immense, Obi!!! I'm not going to blow smoke up your ass over it, you nailed it. The intro to the first RP was spun perfectly for the character, and the planning with Rivera was perfect for the meat of the RP, to show just where TiTAN stands in all of this. The final third of the first RP was just as great and a perfect way to wrap things up in the series, and finalized everything and really hammered home TiTAN's thoughts and feelings on the coming match and all that had happened to him to this point.
Then the second, it went even FURTHER in to the TiTAN psyche, and perfectly explained just where the mindset comes from. I'd dare say the second RP showed that TiTAN doesn't want the title any more than he just wants to be recognized as THE dominant force in the EUW, and it even makes me wonder what he'll think of Rivera once he reaches that peak. Because for a character like TiTAN who always wants to be top dog, how far does he have to get to get to that pinnacle he craves?
Really, I read them both through start to finish, and the writing was spectacular, the story was engaging and the meaning was all perfect. Maybe even better than some of your stuff with Oblivion or Toby Hunter. Fantastic work, friend.

Thank you, Tommy! It makes me feel great to know that you read it and it got the message through. That right there makes the whole thing worth it before the match has begun. Thank you.
I did use Brett Cross in my first arc, so I hope I did him justice. I will admit, writing him was fun. You have a solid character to work with in him for sure.

I knew your portrayal of the character and the match was all done as TiTAN would see it, so I think you used him perfectly.

I really liked the writing style of both rps. The descriptions and details involved were high definition. It truly painted a picture. Some backstory, history, and the story all enveloped together just show all that has built up inside of Titan and why he's ready to destroy the machine and take the championship. Both rp's were great and this should be one hell of a match. Well done!

Fuck. Writing 4 roleplays is a bitch. Anyway, TITAN has 2 rp's to read now so feel free to look them over and offer any feedback. Appreciated as usual.

I think that user bar just about says it all Obi. You're the champion for a reason. I can't imagine putting out four role plays a week and the quality you maintained amongst them was really inspiring. I don't think anyone can find fault with what you do here in EUW - you're truly a lynch pin of this fed.
As for the role plays with TITAN I think it was proto-typical TITAN and that's never a bad thing. Coming right off of his victory and being thrown into the fire gave you plenty of material to work with and I believed you used it all - while also keeping the story of TITAN going. I actually looked at Part 1 and it gave me an idea that I'm hoping to use in the future - which I don't often get from other peoples role plays. That, in and of itself, speaks volumes to me.

RP 1 - Fuck You
This was a brilliant RP. I enjoyed the parallels between the usual, angry Titan doing what he does best, and was prepared for a rage-driven RP, but then you had the part about his parents and how he's dragged himself up to become champion, and I thought that the change in pace was handled quite well. However, you picked up immediately with the old Titan attitude, as well as starting off what looks to be an interesting new chapter within the story of Titan.
I enjoyed the Epilogue (WHat has to be my favourite part of your RPs) and it was refreshing to see that little had changed. Titan is still Titan, and the World Championship win hasn't inspired you to mess with the character or make him child-friendly or some other shit. It's the usual Titan, but as Dante said, that's never a bad thing.
RP 2 - Finale
I felt the inside joke was out of place (Even if I did crack a huge-ass smile at it), but overall it was a great beginning.
The RP itself was a brilliant follow-up to the first, and focused on the match a lot more. Good to see Titan focusing on and dehumanizing his opponents into nothing more than targets for the hunt. The continuation of this Barry Jordan storyline you seem to be kicking up has definitely embellished it already in just 2 RPs, something that not many people can do effectively. Most importantly, the RP kept me reading, and again the Epilogue was brilliant and wrapped things up perfectly. Can't really comment much more, as there's nothing more to say. Sabora set the archetype for what a World Champion is supposed to be, and you're easily hitting those notes.
Great job. Definitely a brilliant read.

I agree with what has been said already. Those fucking roleplays were epic. I absolutely love the epilogues! You say shit that is witty, agressive and yet completely in order. TITAN is a great read, World Champion worthy for sure. If you ask me, you have the edge here.
