- The Rivera Regime is running at full capacity as Mark Rivera seems to be adored by the fickle public, who seem to have been completely deceived by the facade Rivera has built around both himself and his Council, a group of psychopaths and corrupt wrestlers posing as heros and role models to the naive public. With Retribution being the next stop, how will EUW's finest find themselves positioned in regards to Rivera by the end of the show?
- On the last episode of SnV, a video package seemingly aired and made it crystal clear that a blast from EUW's past was returning to EUW on the Retribution PPV. Although his identity is unknown, his position has been revealed as the opener for the card as he takes on the heroic and self-proclaimed superhero of EUW, Dante Holly. Dante was recently given a week off for Psychiatric Evaluation by Mark Rivera who had also manipulated Dante into thinking Toby Hunter was "Evil" and had to be taken down. With Holly returning to duty come June 12th, will the forced evaluation have any effect on him? And who will this mysterious returning EUW superstar turn out to be?
-Count Ludvak and TITAN's feud hasn't been especially lengthy, but it has turned into a personal and violent one in a very short time. Ludvak initiated the whole thing by not being able to resist the urge to bite TITAN's neck during an episode of SnV. Both men squared off in a No Holds Barred at the special edition of SnV where TITAN emerged victorious. Things were far from over as TITAN proceeded to barge into Ludvak's locker-room only for Ludvak to turn off the lights and sneak up on him, knocking him out with a sharp blow to the chest. Ludvak, however, has never been able to defeat TITAN in an all-out-kill-or-be-killed face to face fight, instead having to rely on his wit and knowledge of Human Anatomy, which are things he won't be having the opportunity to utilize in the Ullr's Brawl match. Come Retribution, this short yet barbaric feud will come to an end in the only means to end.....the newly created Ullr's Brawl Match. A sick combination of a Cage and Last Man Standing match, this match has been created to resolve violent feuds with a guarantee of no interferences or any other foul play that can result in dispute. Will TITAN finally take out Count Ludvak for good? Or will the Count find a way to walk out of the match with a victory over one of the Council members?
- Eddie Laurel has gained a notorious reputation of being strategic and tactical in the ring, utilizing his surroundings to find an opening for picking up the win. Knowing fully about this from his experience as TITAN's manager, Rivera decided that Eddie's past would provide an interesting challenge to the recently returned Brett Cross. Laurel reacted in shock and horror, an understandable reaction considering Cross weighs 336 pounds and Laurel weighs 127 pounds. Come Retribution, will Laurel be able to defeat the odds like he had with TITAN and pick up a win over The Norse Hammer? Or will the monstrous Norse Warrior eradicate Laurel?
- Marcus Puzzo's obsession with being in the main event and the spotlight has caused him to turn on his brother, feeling that 415 was holding him down. What was once a gridlock tight partnership between The Puzzo Brothers has become a debacle of violence as both Puzzos found themsleves on two comlpetely different levels. Marcus has struck a deal with Rivera and gotten himself a spot on Rivera's Council while 415 has stuck to his values. Unable to get over the feud, 415 has challenged Marcus to one final match to settle this bitter family feud. 415, known also as Mario Puzzo, had already defeated his brother at the special edition of SnV but Marcus has been able to win two matches with his brother in them, indirectly defeating him in the fatal four way and the six-man tag match. Come Retribution, will Marcus finally rid himself of his brother for once and all and bask in his main event and Council realm glory? Or will 415 destroy his brother inflated ego and bring back some honor to the Puzzo family name? Whatever the result is, Rivera wants to make sure that this feud will end once and for all and as such has added a special referee to the match. His identity? Come Retribution, it will be revealed as he stands in-between the Puzzos to make sure this feud comes to an end.
- The second Rivera assumed control over the General Manager duties of EUW, he began initiating many changes in the EUW universe. The most notable decision is the induction of The Council, a group of psychopaths and corrupt wrestlers posing as heros and role models to the public. The Council's, along with Rivera's, popularity soared as everyone outside the walls of the Vengeance Dome, including the PTC, loved them and believed what Rivera had claimed. However, not everyone was fooled as Toby Hunter saw through Rivera's mist and refused to associate himself with either Rivera or his Council. The fact that Hunter is the World Champion has presented itself as a major obstacle in Rivera's future for The Council. In direct terms, Rivera needs the World Title to be on someone assocaited with him.
As a result, Rivera went to Plan B. He pulled Chris Sabora out of a psychiatric facility and made him the number one contender. He then unleashed hell on Hunter by demoting him to opener status, convincing Dante Holly to go after them, banning all of Hunter's biker friends from entering the arena, placing him in a Mead Hall Brawl match with Brett Cross where Hunter was smashed through a thick wooden table, and now he has changed the main event to a Submissions Match, a.k.a Chris Sabora's specialty. Toby Hunter is now alone and weakened and the time for Sabora to strike is at Retribution. Will Hunter once again beat the innumerable odds and hold on to his title? or will Rivera's ingenious plan see its desired effect as Sabora walks out with the World Title should he win?
- Along with a confirmed return of an old EUW superstar and a confirmed special guest referee appearance, feuds will be both resolved and evolved as Retribution rears its head on July 12th and shakes everything up in EUW.
