So as random as this is, I found my Poser (Michelle Rodriguez) is casted once again as Rain Ocampo in Resident Evil. She'll be back for the next move due in Sept. of this year.
I'm in love with her. (No Homo..... Ok maybe a little homo.... I mean a lot.) But i don't see how the writers will get around the fact that she died in the first movie after being bitten and shot in the head.
Kudos to a writer who can make some sort of loophole out of that and "magically" get the story to work. I know i'd never be able to do it.

I'm guessing it will be played the same way as Wesker in the games. He was killed by Tyrant in RE1, but came back in RE:CV because of a virus he had in his system that brings you back from death and gives you super powers.
See? Simple and easy explanation.

Or maybe it's in flashbacks... although since this is involved with Resident Evil, your best bet is to go with the most ridiculous option.
Which means it's a clone with superpowers that is part Nyan cat with unicorn tears for blood and a faaah~!bulous dance number.

*actually enjoys the Resident Evil movies and is usually there opening day*
But yeah, it's Resident Evil. It's not much of a risk to say she's probably got the G-Virus or whatever like Wesker.

Oh Jeez. Um... Virus plot is a bit overplayed. But i do think that is what they're gonna do. Maybe even the cloning thing like they did to Alice. The next movie is set in Japan for some reason and is a continuance. But.... they could always do some sort of "time machine" thing. For a franchise that is starting to be a movie of cliches, it wouldn't be out of the question would it?
