1) The card will be up by Wednesday at the latest, due to some changes.
2) The deadline for Prestige is Friday 25th November. That gives you around the region of 3 weeks to roleplay for the event. That means no-showing without explanation WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.
3) Thanks to the people who PMed me who I asked to. I appreciate the time taken.
4) Now, onto something that concerns us all: December.
As some of you may have already seen, December is somewhat in doubt. While I am hoping we will get one show after Prestige, a second show would take place on Christmas, and i'm sure the Staff would not enjoy writing matches and putting together a show so close to the holiday period, and i'm sure the last thing on anyones mind would be roleplaying either.
So, I figured that, since we all seem so busy, i'd have a vote: Who would be up for roleplaying for our first December show? (That is, a show taking part on the 11th December.)
The reason i'm asking this is because, if we don't, it will effectively give us an entire month off. The positives are it would give the Staff time to recruit and start modifying the fed, while the negatives are that....well, it's a month off. For some of you, it may anger you. Some of you may even step away, but for some of you it might be a relief over such a stressful period (I know I have several 2000-3000 word assignments and presentations that will be due in over December, but I would be able to write matches and segments without too much hassle.) So...who would be willing to roleplay?
5) Concerning some doubts as to our status: Now, I am adamant that this fed WILL resume service after the New Year. I don't give a fuck if there's 4, 14 or 40 competitors: I will carry this fed on my back until my feet are bleeding. I know there is some doubt about our future, with competitors leaving and the like, but i'll be damned if i'm watching this fed fold, and i'll be damned if i'm not going to go out swinging if we have to.
I am going to continue running this place until it is certain we have to close down, and even if we do close down? I'm going to keep on tending to this place, and recruiting, until we rise again. I REFUSE to give up.

I want to go ahead and apologize for the no-shows, there are a lot of things behind why that happened. That doesn't change the no-shows and the fact that I did something I shouldn't have. I always had a problem with no-shows as an owner, and I know how frustrating and discouraging it is.
I do want to give public props to Phil. You're doing a great job dude, you're pushing hard, and you have the drive to keep things up. I have complete faith that EUW is going nowhere. An extended Christmas break can't take EUW down. Nothing else has. Not for good anyways. Keep it up Phil.

Count me in, too. I know that I've not always been the model e-fedder, and I know that I'm not the best at keeping my mouth shut sometimes, but I appreciate the Hell out of the changes that you've made in EUW during your time as the fedhead-- and the best way for me to show that is to stick around.

Figured I may as well shed some light on the card (I'll post an in-character thing on the EUW.com board later.)
1) Viper PMed me and said he wouldn't be able to RP for Prestige. The Lionheart Championship was firstly supposed to be a Fatal 4 Way (Taylor/Viper/Burrows/Tenfold), but we lost Taylor. Then it was supposed to be a Triple Threat match (Viper/Burrows/Tenfold). However, now it's down to a Singles match. I know it's a retcon of a feud i've been building up for the past 3 shows, I apologise.
2) The decision was made between all Staff members to move Chuck Johnson into the actual Main Event as a competitor. He was originally supposed to be a Special Enforcer, however recent events, as well as Chuck's recent performance, helped us to decide it was better to have a third man in the Main Event. (Also, I should note at this point that a similar issue occurred with the Lionheart Championship match: I originally planned to turn it into a Fatal 4 Way again, but once again, some issues occurred.)
3) The deadline is Friday 25th November 2011 - 11:59pm. If there are any underlining problems amongst writers, I won't hesitate to move the deadline up to Saturday 26th.
I really want to note something at this point: Even if we do have a month-long break (Something seeming likely at this point), Prestige is where I will decide who deserves a push. Whether you're Stephen Callaway + Justin King and opening our flagship show, or whether your battling for a title like Burrows, Cross or CJ, everyone who steps up and shows that they want to reach the pinnacle WILL be rewarded for doing so. In that respect, people who post mediocre efforts (At least, without warning the Staff in advance. We understand people are busy at this moment, of course.) won't be looked on as favourably.
Do you want to be a champion?
That question has been asked countless times in this federation, but Prestige is the opportunity where everyone gets to prove it, no matter what your position is on the card. Prestige isn't just about winning the match, it's about showing how great you are. That's why you should take this time to rise above everyone else and tell us "I want to be the champion. I want to be the best.".
This is it. This is your moment to outshine the others. We will be watching all of you closely. We will be reading the roleplays with greater interest than ever before.
Carpe Diem.

I am here. You're doing a great job, Phil. I am excited about Prestige as well. The EUW has been here before so to speak and we still stand strong.

What about those of us who are already champions (and apparently aren't defending said championship at the big ppv) o.o? Maybe you should just be thankful for that. Besides, title, non-title, main event, curtain-jerker, whatever. It doesn't stop anyone here showing off everything that they are capable of. Simply a matter of drive - who has it? Who wants it? Carpe diem, indeed.

Carpe diem, indeed. LOL am I supposed to be scared or something? Also it's obvious that every member on the show has to and should step up since this is the bigtime show, so I'm not sure why you're bringing it up. My point was more asking Phil why the Hardkore title wasn't being defended at the big show aside from the obvious fact you're new and haven't earned it. Just seemed odd.

Why isn't the Hardkore Title being defended? Simple: Lavery has only been here for a few weeks, yet I wanted to give him a challenge without having a title on the line. Not to mention that our lower midcard has been pretty barren as of late and it's been rapidly changing (Making it difficult to actually build up legitimate contenders for the Hardkore Title.) and the major priority has been finding and building up possible contenders for the Lionheart Title and World Title scene since we've taken a heavy hit to them.
Don't worry, though: With a few new members on the roster, we'll have you defending that title in no time.

I'm in. When my work at uni is done, anyway. I'll try and get back into EUW again.

Alright, since I don't so any definitive answers, let's get this out the way: Are we all in favour of a month-long break over the month of December? I can imagine it's a hectic time for a lot of people,so a month long break will probably help people get their work done with and get their shit sorted out (to put it bluntly.) Of course, this means that some of you might roam off of the pasture and head to greener fields. So, who is in favour of a break? A simple yay or nay will do.
Rest assured, as long as there is even 4 or 3 people here, EUW will resume normal service in January.
