Probably the only critically-acclaimed "classic" novel I actually like. So many novels get chosen by so-called "experts"...Novels like Pride and Prejudice, Silas Marner etc;..but this one of the very few I actually like. It was gripping without being tedious, moralistic without being patronizing, and interesting without losing it. ..has to be a close second for my favourite novel. Brilliant novel. Vonnegut really is brilliant, but the entire story requires a lot of re-reading just to begin to make sense of it. It is pretty excellent though, and I would recommend it if you can get past how utterly confusing it is at first.

To be honest, I don't read much without pictures. But I do remember I loved that book and I really want to read the sequel. If we can bend the rules for graphic novels though, I'd list like 100. And everything Hickman has done. Red Mass for Mars, Transhuman, Nightly News and especially Pax Romana.
