It feels as if months have gone by since I last collected my thoughts. There is much to analyze. I've got my plan straight, but I haven't taken a moment to simply step back and look at all the pieces. I've yet to take a moment to revel in my prowess. I haven't enjoyed my spoils; and believe you me, there are plenty of spoils. Where to begin? Perhaps we could step as far back as Retribution. Back when no one believed me, and yet I delivered exactly as I promised. Jace Ambrose is quite a determined spirit. I give him quite a bit of credit for his performance and endurance. The outcome could not have brought me more pleasure.
I'll admit that even I was surprised at the moment that May threw in the towel, forfeiting the match for Jace and resulting in my victory. In hindsight, the result could not have been more obvious or made more sense. I should've seen it coming a mile away. My lack of foresight makes no difference though, the outcome remained. The most important result of the match was the amount of pain inflicted on Jace coupled with the amount of pain inflicted on May. Jace was done. I had beaten and torn him within an inch of his life on more than one occasion that night, but he refused to give up. I can admire that, despite how stupid it was.
Fortunately, I was not necessarily facing Jason Ambrose, but rather the team of Jason and May. As any great warrior knows, any team is only as strong as its weakest link. Big surprise that May is the weakness. I beat Jace until he was quite literally unconscious. May panicked and threw in the towel. I broke Jace Ambrose. Physically, I took him to the limit and his body failed him. It's exactly what was to be feared from his side. It's exactly what I expected to happen. It seems though, that our next one on one encounter will have to include some more keen planning on my part. I can't rely as much on submissions to seal the deal against him. They will no doubt deal significant damage, but I don't see Jace voluntarily falling to me.
No, I will have to beat Jace into oblivion the next time we clash, so that he has no choice in the matter. For there will certainly be a next time we clash. Jace and I are far from over. I have heard that if he falters in our next meeting, he's done by order of May. I look forward to doing one of two things. Either I will happily and most assuredly end Jace Ambrose's career, or I will finally push Jace so far that he must go against May. I will push Jace so far that he understands this business is meant for fighting alone. Great champions should be remembered for their ability and resilience, not for the woman standing beside them at the top.
In the meantime, before Jace and I finally clash, we've had a few small...encounters in recent weeks. One of which included me proving my point yet again. The second is one where I must give Jace a bit of credit for actually pulling off a good ambush. Our final confrontation will be no ambush though. It will be a brutal brawl, leaving room for only one victor. Between now and then, it appears we will have a bit of an indirect clash. At Sunday Night Vengeance, I finally have the chance once again to get my hands on Jace Ambrose in the ring. Unfortunately, Jace will not be alone and I will also be coupled with someone else.
Jace has Danny Tenfold on his side, whilst I am partnered with the conniving Roy Viper. I must say that if I had to choose someone to partner with, Roy actually would be high on my list. The only problem of course being that I don't honestly want to team with anyone at all ever right now. That makes no matter though. Sunday Night Vengeance will go off just as one might expect. Jace and I will be worried about going after each other, whilst Danny and Roy will have their sights set on each other. The recordbooks don't matter to me. My only goal at Sunday Night Vengeance is to inflict serious pain on Jace Ambrose. I want to hear May's sobs from backstage. If that pain in turn causes our victory, it's merely icing on the cake.
