Again, I usually don't ask for feedback 'cause I don't give it out enough. Same as I did at Back 2 Roots I'll try my best to give out feedback this weekend 'cause I'm asking for it here.
For the past year and a half, Mark Rivera and Dante Holly have been synonymous with one another. I believe it is just him and Mr. Luck that were on both The Council and The Empire and Mr. Luck joined The Council near the end of the line. In addition to this, he has feuded on end with Toby Hunter/Oblivion, seeing him as the end to his means so to speak.
With everything turned Topsy-Turvy, I tried this week to really, really emphasize the change in Dante, not by telling it but showing it. To that end I am curious as to what people thought of a serious Dante Holly that recognizes the brevity of the situation but is also seeking desperately to make ammends to Oblivion who has essentially fought for the same as him for so long, just on different sides.
In addition, match relevance with him is a bitch but I'm curious as to what people thought of it. I also sincerely hope the length does not throw anyone off. I struggled incredibly with this piece and getting the idea from head to word processor (I had Robin, Roy and Obi sign off early in the role playing period if anyone doubts the validity of this) but once I got too writing it flowed to the point where it became my longest role play ever. I sincerely hope this is a one time occurrence with Dante.
I'll thank everyone for reading this miniature essay and again, I'll all but promise to give out some feedback on Sunday as I laugh at the misery of everyone else having to recover from two days of binge drinking.
Cheers,
James.
