Entrance: The lights dim down as the crowd stands up to their feet. “Bleed for Me” by Saliva begins to play as a fog machine releases it’s contents unto the stage area. Lights begin to blink in a strobe like fashion as the crowd cheers relentlessly, awaiting the arrival of the next competitor. Stepping into view, The Machine glares out from underneath a thick leather mask, his face completely concealed. His body is dressed in a similar outfit, a tightly fitted black leather uniform. The fans continue cheering as he glances from left to right, only to slowly walk down the ramp and towards the ring. Stopping at ringside, The Machine turns to the fans once more, only to then head toward the metal steps and ascend them after. He casually slips through the ropes and walks toward center ring where he turns to face the fans. Cameras flash repeatedly behind him as he slowly raises one gloves fist over his head and into the air. He then slowly arches his neck as his arm lowers, glancing in the direction of the referee. With his theme song fading to a close, The Machine steps back in the direction of his corner, to await the start of the match.. |
In Ring persona and How to write the Machine:
In Ring persona- Chris Sabora is technically sound. He is also amazingly quick. His decision making skills are as good as it gets. With nerves of steel in the ring, he tends to fight defensively. His greatest strength is his technical know-how. His finishing move, the "The Maximum Overdrive" is utterly devastating. It is rare that a person can get back up after it is used on them. Chris is known to use this finisher at anytime.. anywhere.
How to write?- Chris should be written with his background in mind. Not only can he pound it out and strike thanks to his martial arts skills, but he has an uncanny ability to counter most holds and moves. Chris tends to go for a quick submission when possible. If he is able to get off his finishing move... it's over. Chris is emotionless in the ring, and will go to whatever extent it takes to gain a victory. When writing him, make sure that you show that his loyalty is to no one. He is the "wild card" in the EUW, driven to win by his own agenda.

Bio::
Chris is master in many forms of martial arts. Having learned Judo and Jeet Kun Do in Japan, Chris decided to try to fight competitively. Joining Pride and later the UFC, Chris would go on to become a world wide phenom as he captured 6 world championships. Finding no challenge left in his profession, Chris joined the EUW to throw his hat in the wrestling scene.
After a brief stint as tag team champion while a member of Honor N' Vindication, Chris found his career put on hold. Announcing an early retirement due to an ongoing collar bone injury, he left behind a powerful and successful career to that point.
Then, an unexpected person entered his life. Doctor Harvey Larson offered to put Chris under the knife with a new procedure. It would be costly. With the help of his former Firm teammate, Xplode, the surgery was paid for and successful. The collar bone was completely repaired. A return to the ring was inevitable for Sabora. With the sky the limit once more for him, he looks to step back in the ring and pick up where he left off...
With all the energy he could muster, Chris finally brought home the prize, the World Championship, defeating Lincoln Daggerson and Xplode on the same night.
A Champion no more?- Due to a company wife closure, Chris found himself stripped of the EUW World Championship. Upon it's re-opening, he was inserted into the bottom ranks against his own emotions.
Overdrive - Chris returns to the ring, more focused than ever. His perfect smile and physique is still intact. His mind set is completely different however. Chris is almost void of emotion now. His personality has become that of his name sake.. a machine. Chris has let go of his ambitions, allowing himself to take whatever measures are necessary in his hunt for the championship.
Champion again.- Hunting down the man who stripped him of the World Title, Chris Sabora was a man on a mission as he defeated a long list of stars to gain a shot at Toby Hunter at Scars and Stripes. In front of a sell out crowd, The Machine put away the Big Dog to capture his second EUW World Championship.
*UPDATE! Enter the Machine: Having received serious injuries at the hands of TITAN, Sabora was forced to retreat to his homeland to heal. In the process, his alter persona, The Machine, has assumed control. Under a new name and outfit, The Machine hopes to return to gain revenge upon those who have wronged him. Will Chris Sabora return to make things right or has the Machine finally won the battle? For now, a dark clad warrior seems set to return to the ring with a harsh sense of justice.

The Machine - Due to the stress that he has gone through, Chris has paid the price mentally. His alternate persona "The Machine" has become a real entity, taking over his his decision making ability. In an odd occurrence, Chris had a complete break down on an episode of SNV, sending him to a mental facility as a result. Currently, he is under heavy observation but as the days go by, one is left wondering.. Is Chris Sabora gone? And if so.. Has The Machine become the man on television?
