Wow, it has been a long time. Well, first I want to say that it is awesome to be writing my old friend, Oblivion, once more. This character has a huge history. Once I sat down and began writing my RP for the PPV though, I realized that I would need to somewhat explain where he has been..but doing so would take almost a whole RP! That doesn't look good when competing, lol. So, I did a prelude. That way, I was able to do a bit of backstory and shit like that. So, I hope I did not look too rusty. I hope you all enjoy my new series entitled...Breaking Bad This series will bring back a lot of old names. Plus, it will be the swan song for the Oblivion character as I go on one last run. Okay, any feedback is welcomed. -Obi Prelude Link- www.euw23.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=lockerroom&action=display&thread=5661

What a comeback. Not that I expected less. Right from the start you’ve got me wondering what Raviel has planned to torture Toby with. Good thing Toby’s not female, else I’d be thinking Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. LOL
The only other thing I have to say is; Cole is a bad, bad man and should be spanked. Wait… he’d probably like that. He should have his beer and stogies taken away for a week!
I’m looking forward to the next installment.

Thanks for the feedback, Skye. It's awesome that you got excited about it. It was tough deciding to place that in the locker room as I felt it gave my roleplay a good meaty segment to it, but in the end it was not very match relevant. So, I went with the locker room. There is more to come in a day or two! Thanks again.

I had to read the both of them in segments but that didn't meake them any less epic. I didn't find one thing that was off about your roleplays, Obi. They were fucking great to be honest! Thanks for doing a bit of backstory to get me caught up with what was happening too. Very well done.
Oblivion did not dissapoint at all.

*lather, rinse, repeat*
<insert superlative here> as usual. I never get tired of reading your RPs. And no, it's not (just) bias. You put together a great storyline for your characters. Really brings them to life.

I don't think I should be in a position to offer a critique, but I do want to comment that I felt it was an incredible set of work this week Obi - and it was truly an honor to have been your opponent this week. I really enjoyed the Raviel stories last year and this one really caught me off guard as I thought that book was closed - until it was opened once more: although that serves true for Oblivion as well. The pieces on Dante were great as well and I think really struck the chord that has been played up along, the minor nuisance that Dante Holly has been has finally come to be so much more and it's time for him to get his comeuppance in a sense.

Thanks for the feedback, friend.
That being said, the final arc of this PPV series is posted. I wanted to really wrap Oblivion's return up and leave it at the present. So, that was my aim for this one. I used a few people on the EUW side and I hope that is okay. I tried not to be too liberal with them. Anyway, I really enjoyed this storyline. Thank you Dante. Together, we made some history. When that happens it feels 10x better than any championship I have ever won in the past.

Just finished reading the 3rd part this morning. Damn, Obi. I already said how I felt of your series thus far and I still feel the same. Oblivion is back, and he returned with a fury! The last segment was my favorite though. Showing the "leadership" side of Oblivion was unexpected but welcomed. I think you nailed it, man.

Not true feedback, I'll get around to that later, but honestly I think I may just need a two word role play based on that RP.
"We win."
Simply and utterly amazing Obi. It's a privilege to work with you.

Nice.
I like the breakdown;
- Scene setiing, - The meeting with Raviel, - The moment with Skye, - The plan, - Then the big finale
(The Dante Holly moment was great!)
I like how it was in clear chunks that separated the story and gave each piece it's own little moment in the spotlight, where there were no distractions except what was happening in that scene. It felt like it had order and structure.
The content was good, which is basically a given for an Oblivion RP. The very personal nature of the vendetta against the LVC came through. This isn't just another match. It isn't just any other battle for Oblivion. It's big and you made it feel big.
The RP carried dramatic weight and a slightly tragic undertone, building to a climax at Retribution. It hit lot of right spots and might just be one of your best all around pieces to date.

I don't give my opponents feedback much, so i'll keep this short and sweet:
Holy Mother of God, it is an honor to be writing against you. That was brilliant.

I think Jack really hit the nail on the head in describing this one. I definitely feel like 'structured' is a great way of putting it. I tend to like stuff that really flows, and sometimes too much feeling of structure seems like a hinderance, but this went well together. It all went just right from one section to the next. Each left with the right push to go to the next. Overall it really seemed to just pull together with a total package from all ends. Very good roleplay. Very good.

Not the opponent part of course but it was mind blowing. How you do this for multiple characters escapes me but i'm glad i've never had to face you especially after an rp like this

Yeah man, both of your roleplays were spot on. The Oblivion segment was probably my favorite out of the entire fed this week. Very nice.
