So, I've recently tried to start making sigs, in the hope that I can one day make graphics for Pride. As of this moment, I'm pretty poor quality wise, but you have to start somewhere, right? So, I made a sig. Any, I legit mean any, feedback is appreciated, as I am hoping to get better.

For a first attempt it's good. I'd suggest making the text bigger and possibly with a stroke, and also not leaving so much unused space. But it's a good start. When I first got into making banners and such I just messed around a lot and tried to emulate other people's stuff, so I'd just recommend playing around with the program, getting a feel for all the features etc and you'll soon improve.

I don't have any experience making banners myself but i have sat by watching and discussing them. One thing we both agree on is that with the forum having a it's own color and style a border helps "lock" the signature. What i mean is it makes it separate itself from the forum. Other than that it looks great in my mind for a first try. Colorful, stands out, and isn't boring.

Good start. Isn't it a trip that something as stupid as a image manipulation program could end up eating more time out of your day than a PS3 can? I love fiddling with photoshop.
Keep on practicing. It takes awhile before you look at your images and say.. damn I want to use that. Hell, I am not even there yet.

Really not that bad for a first time. Just keep on fiddling with it, it's the only way to get better. My main tip, because this is my biggest pet peeve and I feel can make even the best banner look amateur and even the worst look better. Add a border. ALWAYS, add a border. Something any color other than that of the board's background. It makes things look infinitely more professional.
