Well, the show is in. It's hard to set up for something as huge as Prestige. I learned that the hard way. Holding back and yet building up for a PPV makes a dude pull his hair out. (Good thing I am bald already.) Anyway, the roleplays this week were excellent. Alot of the voting was down to the wire so please.. if you lost.. do not feel upset. EVERY match but 1 was thought about for awhile due to the qualities of the submissions. So, with that being said.. it's review time!

Overall thoughts on show?

Kevin Jenkins is out, injured at the hands of 415. This man has literally been off the wall since the title has been placed before him. Thoughts?
The EUW Champion came out ahead this week, playing a mind game of his own. Faking an injury, not only was Sabora able to defeat his opponent.. but enlist the help of EUW Superstar.. DIABOLIK! Thoughts?
Who is the mysterious person that seems to be stalking Brett Cross? What does this stalker mean by " I remember you"?
Mister Luck got the victory over Stephens this week and seems to be growing hotter with every match. Will the Lucky one carry this into Prestige?
Scorpion and Cross really went at one another. To say that Scorpion has impressed the fed would be an understatement. With a reputation being built quite fast, Scorpion can only soar to the top. Thoughts?
Jack Bull and Royce Connolly beat the shit out of one another. At the end, it seems a mutual respect was formed. How will this come into play in terms of the Pure Title for Jack?
Speaking of Connolly, him and Stephens finally tasted a loss this week. Will this side track them, or just merely be a bump on the road?
CJ somehow overcame Titan AGAIN?! This redneck has become the last undefeated star in the league and seems to not be in danger of slowing down anytime soon! With a upset victory over the monster, and a display of strength over Valdez... what do you think will be the outcome?
Lastly, a new GM was chosen.. and a past legend was in attendance. Who could they be?
As always, there is news posted on our media hub. The card will be up tomorrow on there as well. I will be posting a special Prestige news section in the next few days on the site too!

Favorite Face: 415
Favorite Heel: The Scorpion (Second week in a row, but thats how much I enjoy the character)
Favorite Match: Sabora-Laurel: Mainly for the twists and turns during it.
Favorite moment of the show: 415 solidifying his mean streak. It always sets the bar for what to expect for the Prestige, and now both Sabora and 415 are on equal terms. I want them to blow the fucking roof off!
Overall thoughts on show?
As always, it was excellently written, great segments, more great promos from the guys (I'd sell one of my kidneys if it meant I could write a promo half as good as Scorpion) What can I say? Still top-notch stuff.
*
Kevin Jenkins is out, injured at the hands of 415. This man has literally been off the wall since the title has been placed before him. Thoughts? Alas, poor Kevin, I knew him well. Anyway, this is the kind of thing 415 needs! It's about time he got his vicious streak rolling and thats a good thing coming into Prestige. I hope he can factor it into his writing and put out everything he can for the big one. You're headlining (our) Rasslemania, buddy, put on a damn good show.
The EUW Champion came out ahead this week, playing a mind game of his own. Faking an injury, not only was Sabora able to defeat his opponent.. but enlist the help of EUW Superstar.. DIABOLIK! Thoughts? If Diabolik handles any more characters, the fed will be him and only him! That being said, it was interesting to see the return of Diabolik, which in my opinion is a much deeper character than Laurel and is always a great output for D-Ballz's wacky storyline ideas. As for Sabora..Well, there's not much to say. He's got some major momentum for Prestige and has basically steamrolled over any competition since Scars and Stripes. This week was another victory and yet more fuel to the Machine.
Who is the mysterious person that seems to be stalking Brett Cross? What does this stalker mean by " I remember you"? I was trying to rack my brain thinking who it could be..but I got nothing. All these returning people and who they are is making my head spin! Either way, Cross could probably crush them like a tiny bug.
Mister Luck got the victory over Stephens this week and seems to be growing hot every week now. Will the Lucky one carry this into Prestige? Two words: FUCK YEAH!!
Scorpion and Cross really went at one another. To say that Scorpion has impressed the fed would be an understatement. With a reputation being built quite fast, Scorpion can only soar to the top. Thoughts? Scorpion and CJ are going to be two guys who will be contending for titles in the next few months, no ifs, ands or buts. They are very impressive!
Jack Bull and Royce Connolly beat the shit out of one another. At the end, it seems a mutual respect was formed. How will this come into play in terms of the Pure Title for Jack? Maybe Connolly will get involved..maybe not. The victory certainly gives Jack momentum for Prestige, though, and he won't be wasting that for certain. That being said, it was nice to see the respect between the superstars. With all the guys backstage beating ten tons of shit out of eachother *coughTitanCJValdezcough* it's nice to see a handshake now and again.
Speaking of Connolly, him and Stephens finally tasted a loss this week. Will this side track them, or just merely be a bump on the road? Nope, just a bump in the road. Both men put all their fight into it this week, and neither of them have anything to be ashamed of. I can see them bouncing back and putting their opponents down without the loss affecting them.
CJ somehow overcame Titan AGAIN?! This redneck has become the last undefeated star in the league and seems to not be in danger of slowing down anytime soon! With a upset victory over the monster, and a display of strength over Valdez... what do you think will be the outcome? As I said for the Scorpion: He's impressive. Both men are phenomenal, and they've got a nice red hot streak to capitalize on.
Lastly, a new GM was chosen.. and a past legend was in attendance. Who could they be? I get the feeling its Ash Matthews as the GM...Ok, thats a long shot, in honesty i'm guessing Xplode or someone. As for the legend? No idea. Wasn't one supposed to revealed this week???

Favorite Face:
Chuck Johnson.
Favorite Heel:
415
Favorite Match:
Cross versus Scorpion.
Favorite moment of the show:
Hard to pick one this week! lol. I loved the twist with Sabora not being injured. Diabolik returning was a mark moment as well.
Overall thoughts on show?
GREAT show leading into Prestige. You really found the right balance and hype factor this week. I can't wait to get this show on the road! Extra kudos for pushing the city that we are appearing in. That's rare.

Kevin Jenkins is out, injured at the hands of 415. This man has literally been off the wall since the title has been placed before him. Thoughts?
Damn, KJ is out? As Phil said, this really does put 415 over and at the right time too. Glad to see the main event at the PPV being fleshed out.
The EUW Champion came out ahead this week, playing a mind game of his own. Faking an injury, not only was Sabora able to defeat his opponent.. but enlist the help of EUW Superstar.. DIABOLIK! Thoughts?
Oh yes! The band is back together! I marked out for that. As for Sabora and the injury, let's just say.. 415 should not forget who he is dealing with.
Who is the mysterious person that seems to be stalking Brett Cross? What does this stalker mean by " I remember you"?
Warrior. That's my guess. Either that or Deadpool is pissed about Tom using his image back in the day!
Mister Luck got the victory over Stephens this week and seems to be growing hotter with every match. Will the Lucky one carry this into Prestige?
Luck really is starting to flow now, isn't he? Big win for him this week for sure. Just at the right time too.
Scorpion and Cross really went at one another. To say that Scorpion has impressed the fed would be an understatement. With a reputation being built quite fast, Scorpion can only soar to the top. Thoughts?
This match was great. Scorpion is a great character and I can't wait to see where he goes as far as the EUW.
Jack Bull and Royce Connolly beat the shit out of one another. At the end, it seems a mutual respect was formed. How will this come into play in terms of the Pure Title for Jack?
This segment was a classic one. Very nice. Been awhile since we seen a face ending. This match reeked of classic styled programming. Plus, it puts Bull back on the face side of things.
Speaking of Connolly, him and Stephens finally tasted a loss this week. Will this side track them, or just merely be a bump on the road?
Nah, just a bump.
CJ somehow overcame Titan AGAIN?! This redneck has become the last undefeated star in the league and seems to not be in danger of slowing down anytime soon! With a upset victory over the monster, and a display of strength over Valdez... what do you think will be the outcome?
Holy shit. CJ has been pulling off the impossible. Insane!
Lastly, a new GM was chosen.. and a past legend was in attendance. Who could they be?
Tom Roberts!

Favorite Face: Jack Bull! Favorite Heel: 415 Favorite Match: I really enjoyed the opener a lot. I think some of the other matches were written better, but I enjoyed the opener the best. Favorite moment of the show: Probably Brett Cross's ominous warning. Something about it just seemed really unsettling. Overall thoughts on show? - Pretty good. I'm still unfamiliar with a lot of EUW's storylines, but I'll catch up. The matches were written well, there were a good deal of build-up segments, and it was pretty entertaining. My onky negative is that I feel some of the matches can be trimmed back a little, but that's probably just a personal thing. Overall, 8/10. * Kevin Jenkins is out, injured at the hands of 415. This man has literally been off the wall since the title has been placed before him. Thoughts? - Seems like a pretty twisted, greedy Heel. I really liked his work for the show. The EUW Champion came out ahead this week, playing a mind game of his own. Faking an injury, not only was Sabora able to defeat his opponent.. but enlist the help of EUW Superstar.. DIABOLIK! Thoughts? - Cool! Who is the mysterious person that seems to be stalking Brett Cross? What does this stalker mean by " I remember you"? - No idea. Pretty cryptic though. Mister Luck got the victory over Stephens this week and seems to be growing hotter with every match. Will the Lucky one carry this into Prestige? - Seems to be certain. Scorpion and Cross really went at one another. To say that Scorpion has impressed the fed would be an understatement. With a reputation being built quite fast, Scorpion can only soar to the top. Thoughts? - I enjoyed his work before, and I think he can do well here. His character is extremely sophisticated, something I hope he uses to his advantage. Jack Bull and Royce Connolly beat the shit out of one another. At the end, it seems a mutual respect was formed. How will this come into play in terms of the Pure Title for Jack? - Not sure, but their before segment was incredibly amusing, though a bit longwinded. I found myself smirking a lot, ha. Speaking of Connolly, him and Stephens finally tasted a loss this week. Will this side track them, or just merely be a bump on the road? - Losses always can lead to great material for the future. CJ somehow overcame Titan AGAIN?! This redneck has become the last undefeated star in the league and seems to not be in danger of slowing down anytime soon! With a upset victory over the monster, and a display of strength over Valdez... what do you think will be the outcome? - Pretty brutal match. He's a slippery fellow. Lastly, a new GM was chosen.. and a past legend was in attendance. Who could they be? - I think I know one of the legends. The GM? No idea, ha.

Thanks Kurt!
Are the matches sort of long to everyone else too? I would have no problem trimming them down if others feel the same. Let me know and let's hear some more feedback!

In my opinion, they're jussssssssst right! I even think some matches could go on longer! I have to concur. Longer matches help increase immersion into the setting and provide a better altogether reading experience. Also, you have to remember that since we operate under a bi-weekly schedule, we as readers require a little something extra to fill the proverbial void. If we were on a standard weekly schedule I would agree they could be trimmed down, but the length is perfect for bi-weekly events. Referring to the idea of matches going longer, I feel that this should be reserved only for PPV events. If the matches are the same length, then how are we to differentiate from a PPV and a standard show? The idea of a PPV is that it is the climax, the pinnacle of storytelling that ties each individual storyline together, brings it to its apex, and then allows the the curtain to fall. In order to preserve the overall integrity of a what a PPV represents, I feel the only way matches should be longer is at PPV events.

Favorite Face: To be honest, who is supposed to be a face right now, besides Jack Bull and CJ? No one really screams "good guy" to me right now. We need more Dante Holly in this bitch! Favorite Heel: 415 finally broke for realsies in this last show before the PPV. But there are also plenty of other crazy baddies, too. He just topped the list for me this week. Favorite Match: I'll just be completely truthful, I skim the matches, including my own, I look for any big spots or run-ins from other guys, but don't bother reading them move for move. I lost interest in wrestling years ago, so it's not a matter of me thinking the writing is poor, it's just a subject matter I'm not interested in. Favorite moment of the show: Diabolik's return was pretty mean, totally unexpected and it seemed a little strange, as he popped up out of nowhere, and his helping of Sabora seemed to weaken the Sabora character. But now that I look back on it, I don't think it weakened the Sabora character, I think it strengthened 415's, and perhaps even Sabora's, as I think it made him seem to be that much more in control. No matter how 415 steps up his game, Sabora is two steps ahead. It finally made the main event seem a little more even, but sadly still not even. Overall thoughts on show? Overall it was a great show, a great way to lead up to the PPV by leaving a lot of loose ends for clearing up at the event. Returning stars, mystery GM. The only thing that bugged me was I felt the segment at the end in the office felt a little TOO open ended, I honestly thought we'd find out who it was at the end of the show, after the ME. Then nothing happened. Other than that small problem which is probably my own reading comprehension and not the writing, and the fact that I have a hard time recognizing and distinguishing between face and heel in our fed, it was a great lead-in show. * Kevin Jenkins is out, injured at the hands of 415. This man has literally been off the wall since the title has been placed before him. Thoughts? The character of 415 finally feels like a challenger now, a very vicious one. But I fear when it comes time for the PPV, it will be similar to the final scene in the Wizard of Oz, when you find the mighty Wizard is just a munchkin. No offense, of course. The EUW Champion came out ahead this week, playing a mind game of his own. Faking an injury, not only was Sabora able to defeat his opponent.. but enlist the help of EUW Superstar.. DIABOLIK! Thoughts? YAY DIABOLIK! Who is the mysterious person that seems to be stalking Brett Cross? What does this stalker mean by " I remember you"? Someone with a death wish, I'd say. The blackbird with the emerald eyes. Mister Luck got the victory over Stephens this week and seems to be growing hotter with every match. Will the Lucky one carry this into Prestige? Psh, I doubt it! But in all seriousness, to pull out a win through adversity is just another testament to Luck's skill. There won't be a tie at Prestige, someone's going to have to walk away with the title. Scorpion and Cross really went at one another. To say that Scorpion has impressed the fed would be an understatement. With a reputation being built quite fast, Scorpion can only soar to the top. Thoughts? The Scorpion has indeed been impressive in his return, taking the massive Brett Cross to the limit in only his second match in. Kinda makes Cross look like an underdog for the Prestige match, too. In his time since his return, he's been put in to the tournament part-way through, tied with Kid Luck, lost to Luck and Bull, and barely managed to defeat The Scorpion. Now, with his mind on the mysterious stalker, from an in-character standpoint, will Cross even be ready for the match, when Bull and Luck had such impressive wins? Jack Bull and Royce Connolly beat the shit out of one another. At the end, it seems a mutual respect was formed. How will this come into play in terms of the Pure Title for Jack? See above, Jack Bull seems like a definite favorite in this one. And now if there's somebody watching his back, it just increases his odds. Speaking of Connolly, him and Stephens finally tasted a loss this week. Will this side track them, or just merely be a bump on the road? It only adds fuel to the fire, they both now have even more motivation heading in to the closest match-up on the card! CJ somehow overcame Titan AGAIN?! This redneck has become the last undefeated star in the league and seems to not be in danger of slowing down anytime soon! With a upset victory over the monster, and a display of strength over Valdez... what do you think will be the outcome? CJ's impressive, it's for true. But we haven't seen him on the big stage yet. Will he rise to the challenge or finally have his hot streak broken? Lastly, a new GM was chosen.. and a past legend was in attendance. Who could they be? THE CHILDREN OF THE DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMNED.

Favorite Face: Jack BullFavorite Heel: 415Favorite Match: I actually enjoyed the main event. Very cool twist at the end.Favorite moment of the show: Cross's promo was cool. I liked the whole "Who done it?" thing it had going. Sabora faking the injury was a nice touch as well.Overall thoughts on show? Great show. Good lead up to Prestige too. You left a lot of questions that beg to be answered. At first, the Main Event was looking pretty weak. You really went to lengths to bring heat to it and it paid off in spades.* Kevin Jenkins is out, injured at the hands of 415. This man has literally been off the wall since the title has been placed before him. Thoughts? Didn't really get a feel for Jenkins. Either way, that's too bad. 415 needed this though. The EUW Champion came out ahead this week, playing a mind game of his own. Faking an injury, not only was Sabora able to defeat his opponent.. but enlist the help of EUW Superstar.. DIABOLIK! Thoughts? Don't know much about Diabolik. (LOL, I am a useless rookie) The ending was cool though for what it is worth.Who is the mysterious person that seems to be stalking Brett Cross? What does this stalker mean by " I remember you"? The God of.. the underworld! (I love your character Brett!)Mister Luck got the victory over Stephens this week and seems to be growing hotter with every match. Will the Lucky one carry this into Prestige? This match was one of the best written on the night. The interaction of Luck's crew really was well done. I feel.. Luck may be the favorite for the Pure title now.Scorpion and Cross really went at one another. To say that Scorpion has impressed the fed would be an understatement. With a reputation being built quite fast, Scorpion can only soar to the top. Thoughts? Great match. Bar none. It played to the both of their strengths. I admittedly can not get into Scorpion's rps, but that is only because religious stuff for me is a touchy subject. He writes very well though. Cross though is great fun to read.Jack Bull and Royce Connolly beat the shit out of one another. At the end, it seems a mutual respect was formed. How will this come into play in terms of the Pure Title for Jack? I am a growing Jack Bull fan!Speaking of Connolly, him and Stephens finally tasted a loss this week. Will this side track them, or just merely be a bump on the road? Both of these men will remain red hot going into Prestige. Both are A rated writers. I can't wait for their battle to begin!CJ somehow overcame Titan AGAIN?! This redneck has become the last undefeated star in the league and seems to not be in danger of slowing down anytime soon! With a upset victory over the monster, and a display of strength over Valdez... what do you think will be the outcome? Fuck, did I get lucky or what? I thought I lost for sure. Well, time to lace up the boots, down a beer, and get ready to make history.. huh?Lastly, a new GM was chosen.. and a past legend was in attendance. Who could they be?
