- In addition to these moves, Luck employs an arsenal of vicious kicks to the head and to the body. Luck uses these with the intent of simply hurting the opponent as opposed to ending a match.
- Luck also utilises basic submissions (Headlock, Dragon Sleeper, Wristlock) and suplexes (Vertical, Fisherman, Back, German). However, he'll favour physically beating his opponent with kicks and punches over them.
Finishers
- Divine Rage
(SECONDARY FINISHER) - Hetfield Special
(During a Hardcore Match or No DQ match, replace the Secondary Finisher with this:) - Hetfield Special Mark II
Ring Psychology
Hetfield is more vicious than ever. Rather than focus solely on high-flying moves as he did, Hetfield will now use kicks and punches to debilitate his opponent and basically just hurt them. Hetfield has two new finishers to play with, each one more physical than his others. This is to reflect that Hetfield is not out to win matches, but to just plain hurt and injure people.
While he will still use high-flying moves, be sure to write him as using strikes more often now, and be sure to write him as someone who enjoys inflicting pain: He's not extremely technical, but he will fling some kicks to the head just for the fun of it. He's not in this for anything, he just wants to cause some concussions.
He also wrestles barefoot, wearing a pair of leather sandals to enter and exit the arena. It's unknown as to why exactly he does, but it's presumed to be because he is showing disrespect to the ring by dirtying his feet on it, or simply to get a more intense feeling for the ensuing kicks he will unleash.
How Luck should be written:
- Luck no longer has his entourage to back up, which makes him absolutely vicious and untrusting. He will not make deals with anyone. He will not befriend anyone. He will not ally with anyone.
- Luck is somewhat mentally disturbed. If written in a segment backstage, he will occasionally talk to himself and he will be incredibly paranoid. If confronted or so much as slightly wronged, Luck will lash out violently and won't stop fighting until physically pulled back, even if his opponent is much tougher than him.
- Luck acts in a completely aggressive manner at all times. Think of him as a cornered animal: Always willing to strike out no matter what.
- Luck wrestles barefooted, meaning that he favours kicks and his signature moves involving kicks the most. He also wears white tape over his hands which, in No DQ matches, will be used to hide razorblades for no other reason than to use on his opponent. Should he get frustrated though, Hetfield will often use the razorblades on himself to let his blood flow. There's no real reason for doing so, other than to show the destructive depression he is currently undergoing. In a No DQ match, don't forget the alcohol Hetfield hides in blazer: After cutting an opponent open, Hetfield will pour the alcohol onto the wounds to cause the opponent even more agony. Just for kicks.
- Don't forget that Hetfield has a sadistic streak. I encourage my fellow match writers to go nuts when writing him. He'll use anything and everything as a weapon, including his own body in kamikaze-style attacks. He hates himself, he hates his opponent, so be sure to write it as such.
Entrance: After the opening plays and the main guitar riff plays thirty-three seconds into the song, Maynard Hetfield throws the curtain to one side, wearing a red suit jacket with a golden eagle emblazoned on the back over his bare chest and tights. Walking out onto the stage as the crowd begin to jeer with all their energy. Hetfield stops at the top of the stage, reaching into his jacket and pulling out a sterling silver kidney flask, taking a quick drink before walking down the ramp, shaking his head as the fans jeers fill the arena.
Walt: From Las Vegas, Nevada, weighing in at two hundred and forty pounds...."The Last Emperor", MAYNARD! HETFIEEEEELDDDD!!
Hetfield turns around, looking up at the stage while taking another drink from the flask to reveal the words "The Last Emperor" emblazoned on the back of his jacket before he turns around, walking down the ramp and sliding under the bottom rope into the ring. Climbing onto the lower-left turnbuckle, Hetfield takes another quick drink before placing the kidney flask back into his jacket, spitting out a large mouthful of alcohol over the nearby crowd. The crowds hatred intensifies as Hetfield gives a smug smirk, hopping down from the turnbuckle and pulling his suit jacket off, throwing it across the ring into the upper-right turnbuckle before walking over and sitting on it, cracking his knuckles and taking off his leather sandals.
ACHIEVEMENTS IN EUW
1x EUW Tag Team Champion (one half of Las Vegas Commission)
[/center]
Biography: It was just a few weeks after Kid Lucks spell in EUW came to an end that years of spending, vice and general gluttony came back to haunt Kid, forcing his possessions to be repossessed. Despite some belief that Kid was more of a Socialite than wrestler, Kid proved to be quite adept at wrestling, winning three titles: Two Heritage Titles and one Tag Team Title. Kid was also an accomplished amateur at UCLA, captaining the wrestling team there. Sadly, The former UWL golden boy and socialite was forced down to Earth, as the weeks spent away from home, whether at EUW or UWL, put a strain in the relationship on his wife, Sarah. Just days after the repossession started, and Kid was busy dealing with finances, that divorce papers were issued. After a short legal battle, Kid was forced to pay Sarah half his fortune in money and in personal goods, with his mansion, cars, and even his dog being taken from him to pay legal fees and his now ex-wife. The months before his career in EUW failed to save him from a fall from grace. Gaining bucketloads of money thanks to his passion for gambling and Poker, even more was gained thanks to his Socialite status: No party or opening was complete without Kid Luck on the attendee list. Kid himself used the pseudonym "Maynard Hetfield", a portmanteu of his two favourite music artists: James Hetfield and Maynard James Keenan, and even heading his own TV show: "Around America with Maynard Hetfield" Following his bitter fall, Kid was forced to live with his childhood friend, Zack Cornell, in a downtrodden flat in Battle Creek. Luck managed to scrap away through life on the last scraps of his family fortune, opening a show called "Weirdo Watch with Maynard Hetfield" under his pseudonym. Relegated to a C-list celebrity, and breaking his own reputation just to live, Luck was reunited with his other old-time friend: "Big" Dave Markinson. Recently, Luck has re-emerged into the spotlight after a call from Mark Rivera, who had spotted Luck still having some semblance of charisma. Rivera was quick to offer Luck the position of Spokesman, and Luck was quick to take it, with Dave and Zack in tow. At Retribution, Luck was re-introduced to EUW, now referring to himself as "MR. Luck", indicating no shortness of ego and arrogance to come yet. Still stuck in the streets of Battle Creek, but now in a prime position to re-capture his meteoric rise to riches, Mr. Lucks story has just begun, and with Big Dave and Zack Cornell in tow. Lucks run in EUW has started off slow, and not without its road-blocks: Being introduced as a Spokesman of EUW and thus the Council, Luck at first relished his spot, but after a few weeks of being placed in constant tag-matches, and with opponents above his pay-grade, Luck began to make it no secret he despised his position within the Council. Over the weeks, Luck forged a rivalry with Jack Bull, stemming from his hatred at Bulls arrogance. As this went on, Luck spiralled into a period of self-loathing and confusion, his win-loss record being erratic at best, and finding himself struggling to make a name in EUW. Despite the odds being against him, and losing at Scars and Stripes to his embittered rival, Luck has recently resurfaced, claiming himself to be friendlier to the fans after weeks of taunting them for their fickleness in embracing the ways of the Cause. He may no longer be representing a Council, and may have been bumped down the card to unimportant positions, but now Luck is looking for a fresh slate: A fresh new period to begin in EUW. Luck started to bring the fans to his side, empowered by the lack of stables being backed by authority. Mr. Luck weathered repeated high-profile losses: At Prestige, he failed to pin his rival and saw the same rival gain the Pure Championship he sought. Just 2 weeks later, he failed to defeat The Scorpion and gain the contendership for the title. Bitter but unbowed, Luck once again turned his back on the fans in a more vicious way, denouncing them as peasants, and keeping his fortune close to him. In December, Luck, Dave and Cornell joined The New Empire for added wealth and power. With the fans hatred sealed, Luck moved on with his shoulders shrugged. Later in December 2010 saw the formation of the Las Vegas Commission, an enigmatic stable claiming to be more important than they might be initially perceived as. With this traditional Tag Team union, Mr. Luck, now firmly cast out of Pure contendership, moved in for the kill on the Tag Team Division. His efforts were finally successful: In his first win in three Pay-Per-View appearances, the Las Vegas Commission won the Tag Team Championships, beating the difficult team of Jason Ambrose and Fallen One. Lucks new attitude, that of a brutal callousness and disregard for those he sees as below him, seems to have sealed him the glory he is looking for. The passionate hatred will not vanish any time soon, not as long as Luck continues to hunt for glory. Lucks hunt for glory has thus far been a quite weak one. Despite being a Champion, very few superstars or fans pay attention to it's prestige. Despite being a part of the Empire, Luck has so far been ignored by his peers, shunted aside in favour of other, bigger names. This has fed Lucks anger and hatred, to the point where he has now adopted several Roman Empire symbols in his mannerisms, speech and image in order to showcase what he believes to be his ultimate dominance over all. Luck has decided, above all, to take the fight to Oblivion at this moment at time. Believing Oblivion to be a hypocrite who uses his image as a company protector to instead inflict a dictatorship against those who act differently to the preferred way, Luck wants nothing more than to see Oblivion forced out of the company so that Luck can hunt down the World Championship without the Big Dog looming over his shoulder. When Oblivion interfered in a Tag Team Championship match and made the Commission lose the titles, Luck made it his vow to hunt down the Big Dog and force him to feel every single ounce of pain he has inflicted on others. The fight against Oblivion has been scarred with defeats, yet the Commission has repeatedly managed to inflict pyrrhic victories upon Oblivion, the most infamous being at Retribution when Dante Holly was put on the shelf by the Commission following a violent assault after the match. The Commission was repeatedly proven to be taking a devestating direction under Lucks fist. Sadly, this direction has been completely and utterly unravelled following Scars and Stripes. Starting off with the kidnapping of Zack in retaliation for the time Annette was kidnapped, Luck found himself preoccupied with this situation, something which proved costly when Oblivion used this to force his own stipulation on Luck and added his brother as special referee. Despite taking Oblivion to the limit, Luck lost the match, something which kick-started off a devestating chain of events. Zack Cornell, his manager, was put on the sidelines indefinitely due to a heroin overdose, while Dave Markinson was put on the sidelines for approximately fifteen weeks maximum due to a compression fracture of the spine. Much like the cornered jackal will strike out at those who confront it, Luck has now been forced into a corner, all alone. In a fit of anger, Luck threw away the moniker he has used for so long, and is willing to prove that the old name related to luck, cockiness and arrogance is no more. What fills that void is the sick and twisted man known as Maynard Hetfield, whom has promised that winning and gaining glory will be the least of his concern. Instead, his plan is to now annihilate those who stand in his way, and those who dare to sully his name or to wrong him. While it has yet to be seen what Maynard Hetfield will do, it is clear that he is mentally unstable at best, while his sense of paranoia grows daily without friends at his back. |
