Sunday Night Vengeance opens with a video package highlighting the many events that took place in the previous week. Several shots are shown of the various matches, including the Television Title contest. Some are shown of the vicious assault on Tanner Vincent, and James' subsequent reaction and joining forces with Toby Hunter and what is so quaintly being referred to as “The Cause”. Other shots are shown of the many events of the week, but things all finally land on the Main Event and most importantly the end of the Main Event. The chaos which occurred is shown, from the appearances of Warrior, Hi Octane, and Princess Firepower, to the cavalry showing up from both the Council and the Cause. It finally closes on the vicious beatdown delivered to Radu, one of Rivera's key security officials, and the closing shot of the prevailing assailants. The video package ends, as the camera pans around the arena, showing the excited fans and their many odd signs that have been brought. A fireworks display goes off, then the camera goes to John Walt who is center ring and ready to get things going. John Walt: Hello Ladies and Gentlemen and welcome to Sunday Night Vengeance!! It is certainly time to get the action underway, so it is now time for our opening contest! This no disqualifications and no count outs triple threat match is scheduled for one fall and it is for the EUW Television Championship! As Voltaire hits the speakers, Charlie steps onto the ramp dressed in a long black fur coat, and walks down to the ring, smiling and waving the whole time. As he climbs up the ring steps he stops to wave and bow, and then steps inside the ring. John Walt: Introducing first...from parts unknown and weighing in at 273 pounds...Charlie! Inside the ring is a plunger style detonator, wired up to the turnbuckles. Charlie grins and claps his hands before placing both hands on the plunger. He can be heard to be laughing maniacally as he pushes down the plunger, causing fireworks to erupt from each corner of the ring. The lights dim to a dark shade of purple. "Regulators" by Warren G begins to play as 415 walks through the entrance curtain. Dressed in a singlet, his hair pulled back into corn rolls, he raises his hands to the arena around him as white fireworks explode behind him. Taking a few steps forward, 415 then pulls his hand back and shoots it forward, pointing to the ring as one last firework goes off on the stage. John Walt: His opponent...from San Francisco, California...weighing in at 230 pounds...415!! Slapping the hands of the fans along the way, he breaks into a sprint upon reaching the entrance curtain and slides under the bottom rope. The fans cheer for 415 heavily as he stands up and climbs a nearby turnbuckle, yanking off his trademark headband and tossing it out to the crowd before him. As the opening begins to play the camera shifts to outside and a big D is in the air. Out of nowhere from the light cast by the D appears a man who looks at the camera and breaks into a sprint into the arena. As the intro of the song finishes the man reaches the top of the stage and poses, with his fists to his hips, his chest puffed out and his cape hanging behind him as the crowd pops, their hero having arrived. John Walt: And the defending EUW Television Champion...from Hollywood, California and weighing in tonight and 165 pounds....Dante Holly!! He struts down to the ring still holding the pose until he gets to the steps. He climbs the steps and the turnbuckles to the top rope before stopping and leaping off, “flying” through the air. It looks like he is going to crash and burn but he does a front roll as he hit’s the ground and emerges on his feet, one hand in front of him, and one behind his cape. The referee retrieves the championship from Dante, presenting to each man in the match making clear what is at stake. He then raises it high, causing the crowd to roar in anticipation. The ref passes the title to a ringside official and calls for the bell as the match gets underway. Things begin as 415 runs towards Charlie, looking to deal necessary damage early on against him. He catches Charlie quick with a dropkick, causing the large man to stagger. Despite the impact, Charlie isn't even close to being knocked off his feet just yet. Instead, he simply wobbles and chuckles. 415 lands another dropkick, before taking advantage of the no disqualification rules with a blatant low blow. Even Charlie can't ignore this pain, as 415 takes his opportunity to drive him hard to the mat with a DDT. JJ: What impact! 415 has brought the big man down! The Creep: And with a lovely low blow during the process. I love dirty moves. Just as he hits, Dante Holly lands on both men hard just then. It appears Dante saw what was going on, and commenced a handspring 450 splash. Amazingly, the current champion bounced off the ropes, reaching his opponents right as 415 brought Charlie to the mat, suddenly flying through the air and landing on both with resounding impact. Dante rolls to his feet and throws his arms to the air in victory, exciting the crowd in the process. He then quickly strikes a superhero pose, standing tall in the center of the ring. Meanwhile, 415 has gotten to his feet, while Charlie is oddly giggling as he just now starts to rise. 415 looks at Dante, going quick to the offensive with a side effect that brings him flat to the mat. 415 covers him immediately for 1...2...but Dante kicks out! JJ: A close call there for the champion, but not enough to finish him. The Creep: There is certainly a reason he's had that title for as long as he has. 415 gets to his feet, waiting for Dante to rise, but being suddenly caught from behind as Charlie is back to his feet and catches 415 in a full nelson for just a moment before driving him hard into the mat with a full nelson slam. Charlie then covers him for 1...2...but he kicks out. Charlie slowly gets to his feet just above 415, before lifting him off the mat. Charlie grabs 415, lifting him up for a gorilla press slam, but is hit by Dante with a flying cross body before he can execute the move. Amazingly, Dante built up enough momentum to knock Charlie to the mat and leave 415 still momentarily suspended in mid-air before crashing down on top of Charlie just as Dante brings him down. For a moment now, both 415 and Dante have Charlie covered as the referee slides in and counts 1...2...but Charlie's strength is shown as he throws both men off of him and across the ring in one powerful motion. JJ: The man may be insane, but damn is he strong. The Creep: It's probably good he kicked out though, I don't know what we would have done if both 415 and Dante had scored that pinfall. Both men slowly rise to their feet, shaking off the damage, as Charlie is also rising, but much slower than either of his opponents. Dante is up first, celebrating this by striking a pose to the crowd. He runs, landing a leg drop on Charlie before he can rise. Charlie is knocked back flat to the mat, as Dante steps on top of him, standing even taller in the air with both feet placed on his opponent. He poses to the crowd, receiving many cheers as the referee slides in for a count of 1...2...but Charlie kicks out and does so with such a violent motion, it knocks Dante off and causes him to crash to the mat head-first. Dante immediately grabs his head in pain, feeling the hit. 415 goes to capitalize, covering him for 1...2...but Dante kicks out. JJ: 415 didn't quite get it there, but he's on the right track. The Creep: What he needs is more cheap shots. That'll win him some gold. It is then that Charlie rolls out of the ring, now rummaging under it for who knows what. A steel chair and a trashcan are thrown into the ring, in which the trashcan ends up landing on Dante Holly. Some moments later a steel pipe, a kendo stick, a kitchen sink fly, and a comically large mallet in as well, though they manage not to hit anyone. Despite all he has found, Charlie is still searching. He then retrieves a lightbulb and a car battery as the crowd begins to rumble at the realization as what might be about to go in. JJ: Oh god...what the hell is he doing. The Creep: Oh now things get interesting! Dante throws the trashcan off as he rises to his feet, while 415 is already up and reaches out for a steel chair. 415 rares back as Dante rises, before going to blast him with the chair. Dante ducks it though, as 415 collides with the ropes, causing it to ricochet and hit him square in the head. Dante rolls 415 up suddenly for 1...2...but 415 kicks out. He gets back to his feet, trying to shake off the hit and put his focus back on the match at hand. Charlie has entered the ring now, with the car battery and lightbulb nestled neatly in the corner in waiting for his opportunity to use them. Charlie then grabs the mallet he tossed in earlier, turning to Dante with it. He pulls back, swinging with a huge lunge and managing to catch Dante in the gut with enough force to knock him momentarily into the air before Dante crashes to the mat. JJ: Vintage Charlie right there! The Creep: You do that one more time, and I quit. Charlie tosses away the mallet, quickly covering Dante for 1...2...but Charlie kicks out. Dante appears to be summoning his super powers now, trying to equalize the weapons which have been brough into play. He suddenly kips up to his feet in a quick motion, grabbing Charlie out of nowhere and letting loose a final yell to summon the rest of his powers. Just then, Dante lands a horrifying DC Driver which inadvertently sends Charlie through the trashcan he introduced earlier. Dante goes to cover him for 1...2...but 415 breaks up the pinfall. He then pulls an exhausted Dante off, before hitting the Retribution into the steel chair laying on the mat. 415 rolls him over, covering Dante for 1...2...and 3! John Walt: And here is your winner by pinfall and the NEW EUW Television Champion...415! The referee retrieves the championship and goes to 415, handing him the newly reacquired gold. 415 grabs the title, holding it tight for a moment, before hopping to his feet and celebrating in the ring at the beginning of his second reign as champion. Charlie and Dante exit, a bit later followed by 415 who is still holding his title proud.

Meanwhile backstage, The Council is having one of their most odd meetings to date. Not because of the topic, but because of the way Mark Rivera has truly been rattled. In their room, Titan, Sabora, Luck, and Marcus are seated as Mark Rivera is far from pleased. He appears to be pacing some, and also seems to have gained some gray hair in the last few weeks. The door opens and Dante Holly slinks in, looking disappointed in his loss. Nonetheless, he takes a seat and as everyone is there, even the security off in the corner, Mark Rivera takes this moment to take a deep breath, and then explode on the Council without restraint.
Mark Rivera: What the hell?! Really?! Really?!?! Warrior? Hi Octane and his little whore? This must be some kind of joke. Ah hah, very funny. Now someone let me in on the secret.
As he yells, Rivera stops for a moment, as if allowing anyone who knows the secret to chime in.
Mark Rivera: Nothing? Nobody knows? Well that's just dandy guys. Everything we have worked so hard to achieve and create, everything we have aimed to turn this company into, is going down the drain. First it was Toby Hunter, then Jack Bull, and now this. It's like there's someone conspiring against me, like THEY don't want us to succeed.
Sabora and a few others remain quiet and still, simply allowing Rivera to rant. Despite this, a few others are trying to keep from chuckling at one of the most paranoid comments they've heard recently.
Mark Rivera: I don't even know what kind of power Warrior has now. For all I know, I should be able to just toss him out right now, but no one will inform me. Instead I get answering machines, avoided questions, and lots of 'talk to Warrior' or 'wait and see'. Wait and see? Really? Really? Well I'm tired of waiting.
Mark Rivera finally stops, taking a moment to calm himself and regain his composure. After doing this, he takes one more deep breath before continuing to speak, albeit in a much calmer and focused tone.
Mark Rivera: For now, I will deal with finding out about our new guest and his 'comrades'. When I have things that any of you can do to help with this, I will inform you. Now, let us look to the week at hand. Unfortunately, The Council has just lost the Television Championship. No matter, I expect domination in the next match by Chris and Marcus. As for the Main Event, Mr. Luck and Titan. You both have plenty reason to severely defeat your opponents already. I am now giving you more, as the Council needs this victory. The more things go their way, the more this 'Cause' gains power. And that is not what we need. We need to protect the integrity of this company and all we have worked so hard for. We must fight for the betterment of not only the wrestlers here, but for a better product for all the fans watching around the world week in and week out. This is our ground, this is our company. And we will hold it.
Following the last moments of his speech, Rivera seems to have been able to somewhat inspire a few men in the room. Following this, the meeting appears to be over as Sabora and Marcus stand and exit. It is now time for the second match of the evening. Back in the arena, John Walt is poised and ready to get things going once again.
John Walt: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, representing The Council...
Explosions begin to pound randomly all over the stage area as golden sparks shoot out in front of the entrance curtain. "The Sounds of Madness" by Shinedown begins to play around the arena as the fans in attendance instantly start become loud vocally. A fog machine begins to spew out a thick layer of mist as the music continues to play it's ominous rhythm.
John Walt: Hailing from Los Angeles, California...weighing in at 265 pounds...he is Chris Sabora!!
Walking through the darkness of the entrance area, Chris Sabora comes into view. He is wearing a black hooded sweat shirt with the hood draped over his head, partially covering his face. The sleeves of the hoodie are cut off, exposing his fully tattooed arms. Chris stands on the stage a brief moment, scanning the fans around him as they hail him with a mixture of cheers.
Chris slowly starts to walk down the ramp way towards the ring. He is almost smirking as he methodically continues forward, finally reaching the ring side area. He puts one black boot upon the bottom metal stair and once again turns to the fans. After soaking up the responses from the fans, Chris makes his way up the metal stairs and through the ropes.. entering the ring. He stops in the center of the ring, only to slowly raise only his right arm into the air. Behind him, golden showers of fireworks emit. As his theme song dies down, Chris slowly backs up to the ropes behind him, nodding at the referee that he is ready.
John Walt: And his partner...from Bologna, Italy and weighing in at 210 pounds....Marcus Puzzo!!!
As beware of us hits Marcus makes his way out to the ramp way. As he makes his way to wards the ring the crowd boos him, Marcus makes the gesture of giving them the finger. Upon entering the ring Marcus climbs the first turnbuckle and gives the booing crowd the finger he then stands in the middle of the ring and spits in the middle of the ring making it known that he doesn't care about the fans. Heading to wards the next turnbuckle he does the same thing to the fans on the other side of the ring, he even gestures to one of the fans to get onto the ring with him.
"Psychosis" blasts out of the speakers, and Eddie Laurel steps out, accompanied by Jedediah King, and walks smartly to the ring. In contrast to his calm demeanour, Jed is playing to the crowd, high fiving people and jumping around. It seems as though Jed is more naturally comfortable with this activity, whereas Eddie seems to prefer being more straight-laced. While he is waiting for Jed, Eddie climbs into the ring and removes his jacket, and rolls up his shirt sleeves. Before long, Jed climbs into the ring, and he brings Eddie over to the middle of the stage where they both take a bow.
John Walt: First, representing The Cause, he hails from parts unknown and weighs in at 127 pounds....Eddie Laurel!!
The lights dim down. The deep bass sounds of a large engine can be heard as the crowd stands to their feet, automatically knowing who is about to come out next. The camera pans from left to right now, showcasing a select group of fans as they raise their fists and stare at the entrance way. "Rain" by Creed now begins to play.
John Walt: Hailing from San Rafael, California and representing The Cause. He is the EUW World Champion.. Toby HUNTER!
With the fans screaming at a fever pitch, Toby Hunter steps through the darkness. He is dressed in a pair of blue jeans and a white t-shirt finished off with a black leather vest. With his long blonde hair combed back, he stares at the ring confidently. The camera then begins to zoom in on Toby as he slowly walks towards the rampway. The EUW World Title rests buckled, hanging around his neck like some sort of necklace.
Once at the top of the rampway, Toby slowly raises one closed fist, nodding from left to right as the fans return the gesture. He then adjusts his vest and walks towards the ring. The theme song now hits it's chorus.
Rolling under the bottom rope now, Toby rises to his feet and circles the ring, one closed fist held high in the air. As the arena lights shine brightly against the metal of his EUW Championship, Toby heads to a corner of the ring, leaning against it casually and rubbing his nose. A referee then approaches him as he offers up the title belt. With a nod, Toby signals that he is ready to begin.
JJ: Well Creep, I guess tonight's match is a continuation of the heated battle between Sabora and Hunter from last week.
The Creep: That was an intense match last week, Warrior and Hi Octane showing up didn't really ease the situation either, Rivera is probably still steaming over the outcome. The pressure is definitely on Sabora and Marcus tonight, I wouldn't be surprised if Rivera threatened them behind the scenes.
Eddie Laurel stands outside the ring on the apron while Toby Hunter clenches his fists inside the ring. Marcus Puzzo taunts Toby and then looks to his partner Sabora for backup but Sabora is just stepping out of the ring. Marcus is both scared and angry, he screams at Sabora but Sabora stands on the apron staring intently at Toby. The ref rings the bell but Marcus isn't paying attention, he is still chirping at Chris for putting him up against Toby but Toby makes him pay knocking him down to the mat with a clothesline. Toby feeds a couple of shots to the head of Marcus while he lays on the ground. The fans boo Toby mercilessly while he pounds away at Marcus.
JJ: Looks like there is already some disagreement going on in the Sabora camp.
The Creep: If Marcus want's to get some respect here, he's going to have to go toe to toe with the big dogs.
Toby grabs Marcus by his hair and he yanks him back on his feet, Marcus screams in agony. Toby twists his arm around and applys pressure to his arm drag, Marcus yells in pain while Toby pulls on his arm. Sabora stands calmly in his corner eying up his future opponent's moves. Toby let's go of Marcus's left arm but he follows up with a russian leg sweeper slamming Marcus on his back. Toby goes for a three count.
1..2, Marcus kicks out immediately.
Toby continues his attack mouthing off at Chris Sabora while working on his opponent. He gives Marcus a few more shots to the head and then lifts Marcus into the air and he walks around the ring taunting the fans, he even throws a salute with his free arm at Mark Rivera who is watching the match in his office room overlooking the arena. Then he slams Marcus on his back again with a delayed vertical suplex. The fans viciously boo Toby while he hooks the leg again.
1..2..
Sabora leaps over the ropes and kicks Toby in the head, not enough to phase Toby but enough to break up the three count. The fans chant Sabora's name while he casually heads back to his corner. Toby quickly gets up and walks to Sabora's corner. The ref is nearly sandwiched between both large men. Toby and Sabora exchange words before the ref issues both of them a warning. Toby backs off and returns to Marcus who is barely in motion. The ref is still giving Sabora a mouthful.
Toby grabs Marcus by the hair again but Marcus nails Toby in the eye with a poke. Toby flinches and he walks back clutching his eyes. Marcus tries to turn things around by himself throwing some hooks and jabs at Toby. Toby is sent reeling back a bit but Toby puts a stop to that grabbing Marcus's left arm as he tries to throw a hay-maker. Toby responds with some quick left jabs to the head of Marcus. He puts Marcus into a head lock before lifting him high into the air. Toby carries Marcus around the ring, but just as he is about to throw him to the mat, Marcus wiggles free landing safely on his feet, he runs back to his corner and dives toward Sabora slapping his hand. Chris leaps over the ropes and just as Toby turns around he walks right into the wrath of Chris Sabora who starts whaling on him with endless left and right hooks.
JJ: Sabora is on fire.
Toby tries to smother the fire with a wicked right hay-maker but Sabora ducks under the attack, he moves behind Toby. Just when Hunter turns around Sabora throws a superkick out of nowhere but Toby grabs his left boot in mid air. Toby throws his leg down but Sabora catches him off guard nailing him square in the jaw with a roundhouse kick. Toby wobbles back a few steps before landing flat on his back, Sabora goes for a three count:
1..2, Toby kicks out instantly
Sabora lays down some vicious elbows to the torso of Toby and then he pulls back and stalks his prey, Toby barely get's back on his knees, Sabora stomps on the back of Toby's head with a strong boot knocking him back on his stomach. Toby starts to get back up again but just as Sabora is about to kick him in the chest Toby grabs his leg and with a burst of speed he flips Sabora onto his back, grabs his other leg and tries to set up a sharpshooter.
The Creep: WHAT THE ****!!!
JJ: That's not in Toby's repertoire.
Toby struggles to lock the hold and Sabora wiggles for dear life, he finally breaks free gaining some leverage, he kicks Toby in the stomach with both of his feet and he kicks himself back up returning to his feet. Toby gets up immediately and both men lock arms in the center of the ring, Eddie hangs over the ropes cheering his partner on and hoping to get some action. The brawler instinct of Toby prevails and he goes on an offensive unloading several punches to the stomach of Chris Sabora. Sabora is hurting and wearing down from each blow, he begins to cough heavily. Toby forces Sabora into his ring corner and he tags in Laurel who hops over the ropes. Sabora is still struggling to break out but Laurel joins in on the fray and the duo unleash a barrage of stomps and punches to the head and chest of Sabora, like a large tree Sabora falls down in the ring corner until he is barely hanging on the bottom ropes.
The Creep: Chris Sabora is a great wrestler but a one man army he is not.
JJ: Some great team work from Toby and Eddie. The two are really gelling.
Toby exits the ring and Eddie continues his work with confidence, he drags Sabora's lifeless body to the center of the ring, he tries to wear the machine down unleashing some falling elbows and falling knee's to the exposed limbs of Sabora. With every blow Sabora leaps violently on the mat screaming in pain. Laurel grabs Sabora by the leg and goes for a three count.
1..Sabora kicks out nearly knocking Laurel's light body off his chest in the process.
Laurel gets back up and he struggles to lift Sabora back to his feet but he manages to pull it off, but by that point Sabora fights back nailing Laurel with some quick jabs to the head, he grabs Laurel's arm and throws him toward the ropes with an irish whip. Laurel is ready and he bounces off the ropes with precision dodging Sabora's clothesline attempt with ease, he jumps onto the top rope and leaps off it landing on top of Sabora's legs and he finishes up slamming Sabora's face into the mat with a hurricarana. The crowd is booing viciously at Eddie.
JJ: Fickle audience.
The Creep: No JJ, they're probably saying boo urns.
Sabora slowly gets up but Eddie keeps up the pace running straight at Sabora and hitting him with a few swift kicks to the legs of Sabora, he finishes that off bouncing off the ropes, running at Sabora and nailing him in the face with a shining wizard. Sabora sits up for a few seconds before landing flat on his back. Eddie see's the time to strike and he runs toward the ropes hoping to do a springboard back flip body slam on Sabora but just as he lands on the ropes, Marcus pulls them away causing Eddie to slip and land on his groin. The audience let's out a oooh chorus before cheering for Marcus. Eddie hangs on the ropes in delay before rolling off them and landing on his back. Furious that the ref did not call anything, Toby enters the ring and points at Marcus as he makes a break towards his ring corner. Marcus backs off before the ref literally leaps in front of Toby and holds him back. Toby is screaming at both Marcus and the ref.
Eventually he stops and he heads back to his corner, Sabora is just getting back up and Eddie is out cold in the ring.
JJ: WHAT KIND OF NON CALL WAS THAT? TOBY AND EDDIE SHOULD BE CELEBRATING RIGHT NOW!!!
The Creep: Marcus was just doing what he has to do to pull off a victory.
Sabora wobbles across the ring before he slaps Marcus in who leaps over the ropes, hungry to finish off his dirty work, he approaches Laurel with excitement. Marcus bolts in, quickly mounting Laurel and beginning to throw stiff punches to the head. Laurel is feeling the pain, when he suddenly manages to block one. He throws an elbow that catches Marcus right in the cranium. This provides just enough to knock him off and Laurel to look for his corner. Puzzo is down for a moment, as Laurel begins to crawl. Marcus is up now and sees what is transpiring, lunging to stop Eddie. He is a moment too late though as Toby Hunter gets the tag and enters the ring red hot. He runs, hitting Marcus with a throat thrust that brings him to the ground. Toby then whips around and runs at Sabora, suddenly landing a big boot that knocks him off the apron. Sabora doesn't look hurt, but does appear distracted. Toby looks at Marcus who is just now rising, kicking him in the gut and then lifting him high in the air. He then brings Marcus crashing down for The Full Throttle, covering him for 1...2...and Sabora goes to break it up, but is too late as the referee counts 3!
John Walt: And here are your winners by pinfall, representing The Cause...Toby Hunter and Eddie Laurel!!
Toby and Eddie celebrate for a moment, as Sabora has already exited backstage and left Marcus where he lost. Marcus later rolls out, also going back. Toby and Eddie finish celebration, standing tall in appreciation for what they have accomplished, and head backstage.

The feed cuts backstage now to an eerily nostalgic office. A large mahogany desk sits center room, and many interesting items adorn the walls. From fire extenguishers, to broken kendo sticks, to other odd trinkets and things. Princess Firepower can be seen just on the edge of camera shot, and a chair is turned around by the desk. With the back facing the camera, and only a bit of matted hair showing, the identity of who is in it appears obscured. Despite this, everyone in the crowd is buzzing and it appears very clear that Warrior is seated there. The chair spins around though, revealing Hi Octane sitting at the desk in the most awkward looking suit ever made.
Hi Octane: What...were you expecting someone else?
Firepower moves in, standing just next to Hi Octane and holding her arms on his shoulders. Now the man people expected to see, Warrior, steps into view just to the other side of the desk. Warrior chuckles and begins to speak as the crowd appears eager to hear.
Warrior: Hello everyone. As I'm sure many of you have already noticed...we're back.
He grins, allowing the crowd to eat this up before speaking again.
Warrior: First off, we'll start with the why. I know you all have plenty of questions, that's why I'm here.
Hi Octane: I thought that's why I was here?
Warrior: No, you're here to look pretty and sit behind the desk, remember?
Hi Octane: Ohh, yeah now I've got it.
Octane flashes a toothy grin, staring straight into the camera with the most forced smile imaginable as Warrior continues to speak.
Warrior: Anyways, I've been keeping tabs on things during my absence. I mean, what kind of former Commissioner would I be if I didn't? And lately things have just been going from bad to worse and more. I've seen and heard how Mark Rivera handles things, and it's just appalling. The man is ruining everything that this company was made to be. And I can't just sit by and let him do that. So I payed close attention, realizing that the one man who appeared defiant to him was none other than Toby Hunter. Now, good ol' Toby and I haven't always gotten along in the past. Granted, there aren't many people who I've always gotten along with. Anyways, moving on. He appeared poised to go against Rivera, so I gave the man a ring and once he realized why I was calling he jumped at the idea. What better for him than the man who used to be in charge? And of course, his trusty sidekick WonderOctane.
Octane flashes another grin and salutes the camera, still looking immensely out of place in this suit. Warrior laughs, before continuing.
Warrior: Now I ran into an interesting dilemma when it came to dealing with the upper administration in the company. For some reason, they were a bit reluctant to put me back in charge. Something about past experiences with authority or attacking wrestlers in the past, I don't know. Either way, I was unable to reclaim my title as Commissioner just yet. That's when the lightbulb went off. So I made some calls, worked through the red tape, and voila. Sitting next to me is none other than Commissioner Octane!
The crowd cheers and Octane gives a huge thumbs up to the camera while Princess Firepower stands next to him looking as amazing as ever. Almost like a 'hot secretary'.
Warrior: Now as you can see, I'll be around just the same. Keep in mind though, Octane is in charge. Now, he doesn't have full power over Mark Rivera. On the contrary, he cannot overturn decisions by Rivera. Yet just the same, Rivera cannot overturn ours...I mean his. So, Octane is going to start his term by making a few announcements, which our dear Mark Rivera will be able to do absolutely nothing about.
Just beyond the camera, a teleprompter is started up and it becomes quickly obvious Octane is having a difficult time reading it off perfectly.
Commissioner Octane: Greetings my fellow EUW...ians. Lend me your ears. In just a few weeks, EUW will be holding the Stars...Scars and Stripes pay-per-view event. As my first pooling...ruling as Commissioner, I am going to announce a few matches for that event. First, I would like to confirm the boomers...rumors that we will indeed be seeing Toby Hunter vs. Chris Sabora II. The two will clash for the World Heavyweight Championshit...ship once again at Scars and Strips...stripes. In addition, we will see Titan and James Vincent settle their issues one on one, mano e mano, man on man, edition taking on edition, blow to blow, wrestler against wrestler...
Firepower taps him on the shoulder, bringing Octane back from wherever he just ran off to for a moment and getting him back on track with what he was saying.
Commissioner Octane: Yes...as I was saying. Titan and James Vincent will settle things once and for all. Not in any old match though, the two will be facing off in a Hardcore Cage Match. Weapons will be littered around the ring, and victory will be achieved by pinfall, boobmission...submission, or escaping the page....cage. My last announcement will be for another match at Scars and Stripes. We will see representatives from The Cause and The Council face off in a grudge match. Jack Dull...Bull will be going up against Mr. Fuck...Luck. Jack Bull against Mr. Luck.
Warrior: Good job Octane, good job. Firepower, get the man a treat.
Firepower looks at Warrior, appearing disgusted that she has just been ordered to do something by him, as she flips her hair and walks away to get something for Octane.
Warrior: There you have it folks. The Commissioner has spoken. Toby Hunter and Chris Sabora will face once again, with the strap on the line. Titan and James Vincent will settle things in a weapon encrusted steel cage match. And Jack Bull will be going head to head with Mr. Luck. I hope this has all been informative.
The camera goes to cut away as the final shot shows Firepower bringing Hi Octane a soda, in which he is absolutely ecstatic for getting. He pops it open, immediately chugging the sugary beverage as the feed finally goes to the arena where it seems to be about time for the Main Event.
When the music hits, the lights go out in the arena. As the opening guitar riff and vocals sound, the lights re-emerge, a bright gold and red colour. Once the main section of the music begins, Luck walks out onto the stage, adjusting his suit tie and grinning, stopping at the top of the ramp and giving the fans a wave. Cornell and "Big" Dave Markinson emerge from behind him. Cornell takes off Lucks suit blazer and folds it over his arm while Dave pats Lucks shoulders, pointing to the ring as all three men start to walk down the ramp. Rather than talk to the fans, all three men simply head to the ring. Dave hops onto the apron and holds open the ropes for Luck and Cornell, who climb in before Dave himself climbs in. Luck hands Cornell his shirt and tears off his suit pants, revealing his tights before climbing up to the nearest corner and looking down at the fans, giving a small sneer. He hops down and walks over to John Walt, asking him for his microphone. Looking up at the form of Big Dave, Walt quickly hands him the microphone, which Luck takes and walks into the middle of the ring with, causing the music to cut out.
Mr. Luck: Ladies and Gentlemen of all ages, creeds and backgrounds, I thank you for being here in Colorado! But before you sit down for your Main Event, I have a few words to say and I hope you all hear me out.
The crowd is mixed with jeers and cheers, but Luck simply continues.
Mr. Luck: Tonight, the Council plans to showcase its talent against the traitor James Vincent, and the pawn of Warrior, Hunter and their little gang: Jack Bull. I promise you that you won't be disappointed, and that tonight will be an awesome spectacle in our little Coliseum.
The crowd gives a mixed reaction: Cheers are louder over the various boos and jeers cascading to the ring.
Mr. Luck: Yet, you, the fans, don't really deserve to be treated to such a thrilling spectacle. You cheer for Toby Hunter, even after he cheats to keep his World Championship against Chris Sabora. You jeer the Council, even though they work to keep the fans happy, and keep EUW on the air and stop it from being cancelled..You even cheer for Warrior and his cowards when they teamed up on poor Radu last week!
The crowd give another mixed reaction, with more boos than cheers of agreement.
Mr. Luck: See?! Are WE, the Council, really the bad guys here? Only if your sense of morality is a corrupt, twisted, gnarled one! So keep on cheering for your Toby Hunter, for your Jack Bull, for your James Vincent, for your Warrior, for whoever! As much as any of you are willing to turn a blind eye to the actions of your so-called 'heroes', the Council is going to show you why you are all making the biggest mistake of jeering us! Only one team is going to come out strong in this war, and guess who that team? It's the team that has talents like Sabora, Titan and Brett Cross...That's the Council, my idiots!
The crowd cascades in boos as Luck turns to Walt and goes to hand him the microphone. Before he does however, Big Dave grabs his shoulders and turns him around. Zack Cornell joins in and all three huddle up in the middle of the ring, talking amongst themselves. The crowd jeer, thinking they are planning something. After a few seconds, Luck turns to the crowd, still holding the microphone.
Mr. Luck: Of course, that being said, I think I might have to make something clear concerning the events of last week, and two weeks ago, concerning the interference and my bodyguard and close friend being assaulted respectively.
Dave nods beside him.
Mr. Luck: And that is that I don't work for free, Mr. Rivera, nor do I work in conditions that are less than optimal to the physical wellbeing of me or my managers. I know you have finite manpower back there, but the least you can do is give us a hand if those cowards interfere. If not, then i'm sure someone else will be the highest bidder and willing for a Spokesman..
The crowd gives a small cheer, the jeers non-existent, as Mr. Luck hands the microphone back to Walt. Mr. Luck simply swipes his hand across his throat to silence the crowd and walks into his corner, with Dave and Zack climbing to the outside.
The arena lights dim down. A sudden explosion of white fireworks ring loudly as "St. Anger" by Metallica starts to play. Walking through the entrance curtain, Titan looks out over the sea of fans in attendance. He continues to walk out to the edge of the stage area... slowly raising both arms... then.. he leans back as explosions rock the arena from behind him once more!
John Walt: From San Francisco, California...weighing in at 265 pounds...TITAN!
The crowd responds loudly as he walks down the ramp way, smirking as he does so. Walking up the metal steps, Titan steps over the top rope and enters the ring, causing John Walt to step back a bit in nervousness. The music continues as the camera feed zooms in on his face. He stares into the camera, his eyes relentless and his face emotionless. The music dies down as Titan is now seen bouncing in his corner, his massive frame shaking as he does so.
The arena goes deathly dark, then suddenly the crowd erupts, as the first sounds of 'Spitfire' by the prodigy blasts through the speakers and the big screen lights up with images of Jack Bull. As the drum intro loudly slaps into the main bass line the stage explodes with a burst of pyros and lights.
John Walt: And their opponents. Introducing first weighing in at 245 pounds...currently residing in Bakersfield, California...Jack Bull!!
The main lights return as Jack Bull comes bursting out from the back to a renewed chorus of cheers. As he comes down the ramp he tags the fans and makes his way to the ring, scaling the outside of one of the corners to give the fans his ‘Horns Of The Bull’ sign. Jumping down into the ring he then proceeds to each corner in turn to deliver the sign and to gesture to the crowd to raise the noise level.
The arena blacks out completely. A timer similar to the TV show 24 counts down from 10 to 0 on the titan-tron. At the same time the intro to Eminence Front starts up as the timer counts down to zero. Silver and gold lighting flicker from the top of the arena at the same time.
When the timer reaches zero blue and silver fireworks erupt from the top of the stage for about 30-40 seconds. JDV emerges from the top of the stage wearing his black leather trench coat with his shiny black gargoyle shades soaking in the roar of fans. Tanner Vincent is standing behind him wearing a black JDV tank top and some plain black and red wrestling pants.
John Walt: And his partner...from Oakland, California...weighing in at 265 pounds...he is “The Vindicator”...James Vincent!!!
JDV starts his march down the ramp ignoring the taunts and cheers from the fans. Once he reaches the floor outside the ring he makes a dash toward the ring apron and slides under the bottom rope into the ring while Tanner walks over to the side of the ring. He immediately leaps back on his feet, walks toward a ring corner and climbs up the turnbuckle. He sticks one of his hands in the inside pocket of his jacket and then he starts to rub both of his hands.
Suddenly he does a large chalk clap on the top turnbuckle releasing a large cloud of white powder into the air. At the same time a large amount of silver camera flashes emerge from the audience. JDV takes in the roar of boos and cheers and he rallies the fans taunting them. He leaps off the top turnbuckle and heads back to his corner, he takes off his leather trench coat, hands it to Tanner at ringside revealing his new white and red JDV t-shirt. James takes off the shirt and tosses it into the audience. JDV hangs on the ropes in his corner and he talks with Tanner while shadow boxing waiting for the bell to ring.
Both teams are in their respective corners, deciding who will begin the match. Titan appears eager to start, and Mr. Luck is happy to oblige. On the other side, Jack Bull has decided to start the match and as the bell sounds, the men move in on each other. They circle the ring a bit, before finally locking up in the center of the ring. Titan gives one big push, and Bull is tossed away, rolling through and back to his feet. It becomes quickly apparent that brute force is not the way Bull is going to have to approach this task. He shakes it off, moving in on Titan once again and going to lock up. Titan goes for it, seeing that he will easily overpower Bull again. Just as they go to lock up, Bull ducks under and around him, hitting a stiff elbow to the lower back of Titan. He follows up with several punches and finally a low knee to the back of Titan's knee. This odd maneuver knocks off his balance and brings Titan to the mat.
JJ: That's just what Bull is going to need to do here. Outsmart his opponent.
The Creep: Sometimes I wonder if Titan has enough brawn to overcome brain though...
Bull kicks him in the mid-section while he is down, but Titan doesn't appear to have suffered any significant damage just yet. Bull backs up, seeing a chance to hit the BullCharge early. Titan rises and Bull goes right after him, attempting the BullCharge. Titan sees this coming and dodges it, but Bull appears to have planned this. Just as Titan ducks, Bull halts and turns to Titan who appears to be proud of dodging so successfully. Titan turns, expecting to see Bull embedded in the ground or a turnbuckle, but is instead caught with dropkick causing him to stagger. Bull is back up and brings Titan to the mat with a ddt. He covers him for 1...2...but Titan powers out of the pin attempt.
JJ: Bull is on a roll here, but it's going to take more than that to finish off this behemoth.
The Creep: A lot more.
Bull rolls away as Titan quickly shakes off the damage, rising back to his feet. Bull goes right after him, landing a few precise punches to the mid-section. Titan suddenly lashes out with an elbow to the face, causing Bull to stagger backwards. Titan takes this opportunity as he grabs Bull following a knee to the gut, lifting him up and bringing him crashing down with a powerbomb. Titan then covers Bull for 1...2...but he kicks out. Bull rolls away towards his corner, but Titan stops him before he can get there. Titan grabs his foot, dragging Bull back towards the center of the ring. He then lands a knee to the back of Bull, before lifting him to a seated position and locking in a sleeper hold. Bull attempts to fight out of it at first, but he then begins to fade.
JJ: Bull needs to be careful here. If he can't get out soon, it could be over!
The Creep: He's starting pass out, Titan might just have this one.
Bull is losing consciousness, as the referee is keeping close watch on the two of them to be sure when to check him. Just then, Tanner Vincent hops up on the apron on the opposite side of the ring, distracting the referee. Tanner starts yelling as the ref stands up, going towards Tanner and instructing him to get down. Tanner refuses, and continues yelling, only Big Dave Markinson to show up moments later, knocking him from the ring apron and proceeding to brawl with Tanner. This provides the time James needs though, as he enters the ring just as the ref is away and hits a running big boot to Titan while he is seated. The impact knocks him out of the hold and hard against the mat, while James then grabs Bull, dragging him closer to his corner before stepping back out and reaching for the tag. The referee turns around to see Titan out near the center of the ring, and Bull just getting the tag to James Vincent.
JJ: All chaos is going on! Tanner and Dave are brawling on the outside now, while Vincent has gotten the tag!
The Creep: Titan is going to want to tag soon, he's nowhere near fresh right now. And James is going to be looking to deal some serious damage.
Vincent quickly goes on the offensive, landing a few knees as Titan begins to rise. Titan is up, but Vincent quickly kicks him in the mid-section causing him to double over. James then grabs Titan, locking in a fisherman ddt. He goes for it quickly, but before he can get the move off Titan manages to slip out. Vincent doesn't let him go far though, hitting a european uppercut that sends Titan staggering. It is then that Vincent grabs him, whipping Titan into the corner and bolting after him. Just as Titan collides with the corner, James hits a huge stinger splash that causes the big man to stagger out. Vincent runs towards the ropes, gaining momentum before hitting a big boot the sends Titan rolling and then into the mat with a thud. Vincent smirks to the crowd at his current bit of momentum, as he covers Titan for 1...2...but he manages to kick out. Vincent is displeased as he gets to his feet, waiting for Titan to rise as well.
JJ: Vincent is on a roll here! He almost had Titan right then and there!
The Creep: No, he didn't. He's on a roll and dealt some damage, but Titan is far from losing just yet.
Titan is up, as Vincent kicks him in the mid-section and goes to end it with the Vindicution. He lifts him high, but Titan manages to struggle out and land on his feet just behind James. Titan quickly turns around, grabbing Vincent and hitting a huge german suplex. Vincent hits the mat hard, as Titan rolls to his feet and looks to Mr. Luck who is not far away. Titan reaches out, getting the tag as Luck bolts into the ring and after James Vincent. Luck runs, hitting a dropkick to the side of Vincent while he is still down causing him to slide across the mat. Luck rolls away, as Vincent nurses the hit and gets to his feet. Just as he is up though, Luck catches him with a hurricanrana that sends Vincent to the mat but he rolls through it and back to his feet not long after. Luck suddenly lands a shining wizard that sends Vincent to the ground, as he looks to the turnbuckle.
JJ: Luck is in and he's red hot!
The Creep: And I think he's about to go high risk. He's looking at that turnbuckle like a fat kid looks at cake!
Vincent is still down, as Luck quickly scales the turnbuckle. Bull appears to be about to walk down the apron and push Luck down, when Big Dave hops up on the apron and blocks his path. Neither man attacks the other, but it provides Luck the protection from Bull that allows him to come flying off with a huge moonsault. Despite Dave's providing this opportunity, the move backfires as Vincent rolls away, allowing Luck to slam into the mat at full speed. He bounces, rolling to his back and grasping his stomach in pain. It is then that Vincent looks to Bull, who appears eager to get the tag. Vincent starts crawling that way, as Luck is shaking off the move and about to get to his feet. Luck is almost up, but vincent makes it and gets the tag. Jack Bull enters the ring at full speed just as Luck gets back to a vertical base.
JJ: Here comes Jack Bull! He looks like he's got a bone to pick with Mr. Luck!
The Creep: In recent weeks there has seemed to be a bit of tension building between the two, and it could come to a head tonight.
Bull runs right at Luck, hitting a dropkick that knocks him to the mat. Both men are back up quite quickly though, as Bull then goes for a scoop slam. Just as he goes for it, Luck manages to slip out, running to the ropes and bouncing off as he gains momentum towards Bull. Luck then goes for the Desert Boot, but Bull scouts it and catches him with a drop toe hold that brings him hard to the mat. Luck hits with such force that he grabs his head in pain, but attempts to shake it off as he goes back to his feet. He is back up, and Bull kicks him in the gut, going for a ddt. It is about to go, but Luck punches Bull square in the side. This provides just enough damage for Luck to slip out, before hitting a shining wizard out of nowhere. Bull is down, as Luck backs away, waiting a moment for Bull to rise. Bull sits up, allowing Luck the opportunity he hoped for as he hits a running diving european uppercut that knocks him right back to the mat.
JJ: Neither of these men are holding anything back here!
The Creep: Not one bit! Luck appears to have the upper hand, but there's no telling how long that's going to last!
Meanwhile, Big Dave and Tanner have started going at it again, but Dave hits a big chokeslam that appears to have incapacitated Tanner enough to neutralize him for the rest of the match. Just the same, Titan has evaluated that Luck has things well in hand and instead has hopped down from the apron and headed towards Vincent. Titan reaches the other side of the ring, running and clotheslining Vincent's legs. This knocks him off the apron and down to the ground on the outside. Vincent slowly gets up, now dodging a clothesline as Titan gets near the barricade. Vincent immediately runs towards him, hitting a big boot with such force that both men barrel over and into the crowd. While neither is the legal man, for now at least it appears that with the two of them brawling things have boiled down to a singles contest. Mr. Luck and Jack Bull going at it with everything they've got.
JJ: This is complete and utter insanity! There's no semblance of order anywhere!
The Creep: Exactly! I love it! Things are really getting interesting now!
Luck covers Bull following the stiff uppercut for 1...2...but Bull kicks out. He shoves Luck away, rolling and getting to his feet. The two men near the center of the ring, locking up as Bull transitions to a headlock before shoving Luck into the ropes. Luck bounces off the ropes, coming back towards Bull as he is caught with a huge back drop. Luck lands hard and Bull turns, waiting for him to get back to his feet. Just as he rises, Bull goes to end things as he runs for the BullCharge. He appears to be about to hit it, when Luck's agility allows him to move to the side at the very last second. Bull can't control his momentum at this point, as he crashes into the turnbuckle. He pulls himself out of it, getting back up but still staggering some as he turns and nears the center of the ring. In the time that he did this, Luck quickly mounted a turnbuckle and readied to come flying off with the Snake Eyes. He leaps, but Bull dodges it and Luck lands hard on the mat. Luck rolls to his feet as Bull appears coherent, grabbing him now for the BullsEye. Bull goes to hit it, only for Luck to elbow him in the head and slip out. Luck sees his chance as he improvises a bit, running and springboarding off the ropes back towards Bull and hitting the Snake Eyes to perfection. Bull is out and Luck covers him for 1...2...and 3!
John Walt: Here are your winners by pinfall...Titan and Mr. Luck!
The bell sounds as Luck quickly is out of the ring as him and Titan move up the ramp, holding their arms in victory both for themselves and The Council. In the ring, Vincent has entered, after checking on Tanner, and is making sure Bull is okay. The Council appears strong tonight, as Sunday Night Vengeance comes to a close. The final shot is of Mr. Luck and Titan, standing victorious on the ramp far across from the downed Jack Bull and James Vincent, representatives of The Cause.
This has been an EUW Production...
Special Thanks to... James Vincent Mr. Luck Everyone that was booked, because once again, everyone roleplayed! Anyone else who contributed.
