Overall, what'd you think?
Favorite Match: Favorite Face: Favorite Heel:
Favorite overall character:
From its very core, Young Guns seemed to end up about the wrestling. In our first action of the night, we saw Kid Luck, Jack Bull, and Diabolik put on a hell of a contest. In the end, Kid Luck managed to emerge victorious. But with Jack Bull's inability to break up the finish and not having been truly defeated, will he let this victory pass? Or is the rivalry far from over?
Long ago, amongst EUW's famed championships was that of the Hardkore Championship. Opposite the Pure Championship, it represents extreme action and hardcore damage. In a shocking move, the championship has been reintroduced by Warrior and our first new champion has been crowned in Jeremy Sterling. How long will Sterling hold his newfound championship? Who might be first up to challenge the Hardkore Champ?
Ready to split the night in half, and appropriately placed in the middle of the show, Hi Octane and Chance Fusion put on an epic of a match. It began only about escape and victory, but slowly deteriorated into the two men tearing each other apart. Chance Fusion's new shift in personality and wild nature has left him victorious. Will this be it between Fusion and Octane? Is this finally over? If not, will it ever end? If it's finally through though, who might each man look to challenge following this violent feud?
In our second championship match of the night, things shifted to a more 'pure' style. We saw Brett Cross go in defending his own Pure Championship against none other than Joe Dark. Joe has been characterized as "the greatest never to win a championship", and unfortunately this title may yet stand. Without a doubt, Joe gave Brett a run for his money, and many times seemed to have things. In the end though, Brett prevailed victorious once again. Who might be on the horizon for Brett Cross? What new challenger might he face?
The night finally culminated with our World Championship contest. Going into the match, Lincoln and Xplode were ready for the Lion's Den match. They were ready for submission or knockout victory, but what they likely did not expect was the introduction of the steel cage. It seemed the main effect was turning the match into something even more intense and violent. By the end of the match, each man seemed ready to capitalize. Suddenly Terry Jones used bolt cutters to enter the ring, attempting to betray Lincoln Daggerson. In the end, it proved unsuccessful as Lincoln prevailed at Young Guns as the new EUW World Heavyweight Champion. Who will rise to challenge Lincoln? What words might Xplode have on these happenings? How will the new contender be determined?

Overall, what'd you think? I'm quite a bit surprised by how well it turned out. I mean, we just had a shortage of matches and yet it still turned out amazing. EUW style. Favorite Match: The main event obviously. Major props to Oblivion for writing both Xplode's and my character's mindsets accurately. Favorite Face: Xplode or Brett Cross Favorite Heel: Terry Jones. Favorite overall character: Oblivion, for writing that amazing match and for having a badass comeback. I think it would be best suitable to quote Jack Bull's last name and say "Bull!" about this rivalry being far from over Long ago, amongst EUW's famed championships was that of the Hardkore Championship. Don't know if Trent will be longing for Sterling's blood or not but either way, Sterling's gonna have to carry a weapon with him 24/7 if he wants to keep that title and stay alive at the same time Ready to split the night in half, and appropriately placed in the middle of the show, Hi Octane and Chance Fusion put on an epic of a match. Without a doubt, Joe gave Brett a run for his money, and many times seemed to have things. In the end though, Brett prevailed victorious once again. Who might be on the horizon for Brett Cross? What new challenger might he face? Even though Dark didn't win, props to him. I really liked your RP. And a tip of my figurative hat to Cross. The night finally culminated with our World Championship contest. Going into the match, Lincoln and Xplode were ready for the Lion's Den match. In the end, it proved unsuccessful as Lincoln prevailed at Young Guns as the new EUW World Heavyweight Champion. Who will rise to challenge Lincoln? What words might Xplode have on these happenings? How will the new contender be determined? About the match, well I.....may not seem excited about regaining the World Title but that's just because...well I'm in fucking disbelief! Holy Shit! Which leads me to my next point:
Xplode. I was planning on PM'ing you this but I wanted everyone to see it. After our contest and of course after reading your RPs, I have to say one thing. You are the man. I've always held you in high regard when it comes to your RP'ing skills but it's a completely different level right now. I mean, it's been a while since I've read my opponent's RP and said "Shit! I have no idea whether I'm going to win or lose!".
After reading your RP's, I was literally shaking when reading our match. It's been a very long time since I experienced that feeling. So thank you for making me feel young again (EUW-wise of course ) and expect a re-match anytime.

I'd also like to point out that all of the RPs this week were excellent. I absolutely loved your RP Joe Dark, it was the first time in a long time it felt like you were inspired and had something to write about. Lincoln, I loved how your RPs turned out, the perfect exciting culmination to a series. Xplode, I loved your RPs, too, talking about the future was a brilliant idea. And everyone else did great too, Jack Bull put out a huge effort, Kid Luck did amazing with the time he had, Diabolik is DEFINITELY getting in to the writing groove of his new direction and style, Sterling and Trent reminded us that they're forces to recon with when they put up their work and of course Chance's new piece was great too. Hell, even Oblivion without a match put up some great things. Fantastic writing all around, guys.

Once again...
I want to just take a moment now that I had overnight to really take in what transpired and the whole scope of things.
First of all, Thank you for the compliment Tom. You have always been a good friend and confident to me. Your feed back on any occasion is more than welcomed... it's respected.
Lincoln. Man... we really took the roof off the place, brother. Let me tell you, title belts are nice but I have learned that a legacy is formed through one's career as a whole. YOU really helped me to elevate myself in this feud. When Lincoln and Xplode go at it... it is nothing short of spectacular! Your roleplay was excellent. Great use of wording and the story was wonderful as well. I thank you for your compliments towards me as they really mean alot to me. I am honored to be a part of that main event no matter the result. I believe it will be a contender for match of the year. Congrats Lincoln... you earned it. As far as a rematch.. I think I will enjoy life having a bit less pressure for awhile.
Lastly.. Obi.
Ok, your return segment at the ppv was sweet. Why? IT WAS THE OBLIVION EVERYONE LOVES! You were dominant. Just plain bad ass. That is not why I am writing about you however.
The main event.... Thank you. You really took the time to care about Lincoln and I. The match was not just a match but.. a story. You took the time to talk of what we thought about, how our mind set was, the fans... everything. You really deserve recognition for that match. And thank you for helping Lincoln and I look great. THAT is why I am in the EUW. I want to have memories to look back on, titanic struggles to brag about, epic matches to relive... you gave me one to remember.
And to everyone else... GREAT PPV. ALL of us really stepped it up, didn't we? Not just Obi but ALL the writers... everyone played a part. From the titanic Brett Cross to Kid Luck. Chance Fusion's AWESOME reboot of his character. All the way to Jack Bull making a splash! One would almost think that was Back 2 Roots. It was a pleasure being your world champion... now it's time for the era of Daggerson!!!

Wow... Thank you for the kind remarks regarding the match that I wrote. I am not taking full credit at all for it though. Xplode.. Lincoln.. you both wrote excellent roleplays. Both of you could easily have won that match and I am glad I didn't have to be one of the staff to decide who's was better. You both were just that good!
The ppv on a whole was 10/10 for me. It did feel very "Old School". That is a good thing. I would go on but I would be just repeating what has already been said. I just think it is awesome that everyone participated and got excited! Success!
Grats Lincoln... You busted your ass for that belt.
Xplode.. you carried that belt for quite awhile. Hold your head high. You earned a lot of respect during that period.
Brett/Tom... You were dominant. Your writing is awesome and in it's own class. Joe, you really stepped it up!
Jack.. you will really fit in quite nicely here. Great Job and great enthusiasm!
Chance and Octane.. Octane I am happy that you are back and writing again. Chance, I told ya how I felt in a pm. Awesome match and awesome RP's!
Jeremy... I expected nothing less form you than the best you had and you didn't let me down! Grats on that belt!
Kid Luck... If you were not done writing and found yourself out of time... that is scary! You were awesome this past week!
To anyone I may have missed.. it is not intentional. I am at work and typing on the down low.
The only thing missing from that PPV for me was three names..
JDV, 415 and Chris Sabora. Then the family would have been all together.
And most of all.. THE CREEP was missed. This event could have been epic had he stepped in the ring and really taught everyone how to get the job done! (hope this works. )

Ahem.... OMG Creepy. Creepy.. Creepy.... Forgive me. I swear it was not meant that way and you are part of this family in a major way... lol Damn, I sounded like an asshole.
Creepy, I knew you were out with RL issues and wanted time to do your imaging work. That was why I didn't say your name. Sabora is not returning, 415 I am not sure of and JDV I wasn't too sure of either. Hence I thought their whereabouts were missed. You were not forgotten. Sorry, brother. Wow...

Thanks to everyone who congratulated me on my title win. And like Tom said, everyone stepped it up despite the unusually short card. So major props to everyone. Now perhaps we can get more feedback for the PPV?

Alive, kickn' but now I am catching up on a lot of work that piled up on my desk for two weeks while I was seriously out of action. Almost had to go to the hospital for an IV and an overnight stay.
Anyway will be returning soon once things settle down.
