Overall, what'd you think?
Favorite Match: Favorite Face: Favorite Heel:
Favorite overall character:
In perhaps the biggest event of the night, EUW's Third Annual Downpour Elimination Match has come and gone. Without a doubt it will go down in history as one of this year's absolute classics. Things began certainly different, as ringside commentator Larry Boer inserted himself where Sterling could not be. The match then continued with some brutal events and some classic wrestling. In the end, it was Lincoln Daggerson and Tom Roberts in the final two, as last year. In the end, Lincoln Daggerson finally prevailed in the Downpour and earned himself another shot at the EUW World Heavyweight Championship. Will Xplode be able to handle Lincoln Daggerson when he finally is forced to face him with everything on the line?
With championships being mentioned, another great championship match took place at Back 2 Roots. The Pure Championship saw two EUW greats, two titans, go face to face and give it their all. Michael de' Archangel entered as the reigning champion, but unfortunately he did not successfully prevail this time. In the end, Brett Cross stood tall as the new EUW Pure Champion. At the end of the Pure Tournament, it seems we have found the best in EUW to challenge, as he reigns the new champion. The question remains, where does this leave Michael de' Archangel? And who will be vying for the new Pure Champion?
In Tag Team news, 415 and James Vincent faced off against Joe Dark and newcomer Devon Poole with the championships on the line. Vincent and 415 successfully defended their belts, but following the match it appeared Vincent no longer wanted anything to do with the championship he held. This seemed to be the final straw as Warrior came out and spoke of the respect the titles used to hold, respect that is long gone. Warrior followed this situation by removing the Tag Team Championships from 415, as Vincent had already given his half to 415. Warrior claimed that until a team that respected the belts and deserved them came along, he'd be holding on to them. Is the Tag Division dead?
Among other news of the night. We saw EUW veterans return in the opening contest of the night, only for the retiring Chris Sabora to prevail as the victor. Later, Diabolik seems to be a changed man and getting ready to be back. Just before the Downpour, Trent Sickness viciously attacked Jeremy Sterling. What could be the meaning of this assault? We also saw Christian Stephens and King Carter fight to a stalemate. Are things over between them?

10/10. Easily.
Overall, what'd you think?
Well done. Back 2 Roots did not disappoint once again.
Favorite Match:
I actually liked the one not mentioned below the most. Mine. It was well written. I really liked how it conveyed the hatred that Obi and Xplode have for one another.
Favorite Face:
Chris Sabora. Too bad it was his last match.
Favorite Heel:
James Vincent.
Favorite overall character:
Chris Sabora. When I finally step away from the ring, that is how I want to go.

It is always a war when Lincoln and Xplode stand toe to toe. It won't be anything less brutal this time around.

James Vincent will be wanting to speak with Brett about that title. Mark my words.

Chris Sabora is a star who retired before his prime. D-bawls returning is a very good thing! Trent always has things cooking, it will be interesting to see how things pan out.

ok I have a small complaint over my match. Do I mind losing to Tom/Brett, heck no I have all the respect in the world for him, the bad part was the match was horrible. That was the shortest pure match I have ever been involved in and I think it was a disservice to both Characters for not having it go longer. We had a total of 1 warning not rope breaks not submissions nothing. Go and look back at all the rest of the matches that have been pure matches, they are long and in depth. Honestly I would have preferred a delay in the results then an ending that seemed thrown together... personally. I honestly had hard time reading the rest of the PPV. Sorry just being honest

Xplode. I could say this to you personally but I think it should be recognized among your peers as well. You really impressed me. At one time, I could count on how you would write and what strategy you would employ. Now, you really are at the top of the world. Thank you for headlining with me. It was a pleasure. It seems I was the one who came unprepared this time around. Congrats Champ.

Overall, what'd you think? I always thought B2R would be affected by the Downpour, but it seems I was mistaken this year. Every match, whether short of long, served it's purpose. I even loved the whole Diabolik coming back promo. Also, I WON! It's been awhile since I've actually took home a PPV victory. Still though, major props to all who RP'ed. All the RP's were top-notch imo
Favorite Match: Downpour was awesome but I didn't like how two big matches were after each other. Maybe we could've have put the Downpour before the Pure title match, and then put the Pure title match after it as a "intermediary" between the Downpour and the Main Event. Still though, it didn't affect it much.
Favorite Face: Diabolik. I'm very interested in the whole "changed" storyline. Favorite Heel: James Vincent.
Favorite overall character: Gonna give this to Xplode. Congrats man, you beating Obi is big. Trust me, he's one tough SOB. After all, him and I will be engaging in the forbidden dance come MNS.

Nobody can handle L-Dagg baby, especially when he's on fire. Like Xplode said, expect a full blown war when it comes to our feud.

Michael was able to hold on the Pure title for quite some time. I believe he'll be longing for one more dance with the current champion.

Not sure. The tag team division is, imo, good for the sole purpose of bringing in and advancing the new guys. It's still a prestigious belt of course.

Lots of drama. This can only end in one way. Bloodshed. Or in other words, business as usual.
