Overall, what'd you think?
Favorite Match:
Favorite Face: Favorite Heel:
Favorite overall character:
Either Chris Sabora, Chance Fusion, or Brett Cross is going to get a chance at the Pure Title. How is this going to effect the landscape of EUW? Is MdA ready? Will these men be able to wait a week before they tear each other apart?
Terry Jones was laid out before the main event. Who is this mystery attacker? How will Xplode respond? How does all this relate to the strange events of the last few weeks? What is in store for our Heavyweight Champion and will he be able to weather it?
Four men have been announced for the Downpour, and they are already at each others throats. What deal have Xander and Sterling made? What is Creep's condition after the beat down e suffered? And who is the fifth man and Lincoln's partner?

7/10 Wasn't big on this week's show. There was alot going on, yes. The main event was.. well, I will get to that.
Overall, what'd you think?
I felt this week's MNS had alot going on, maybe a tad bit too much. The tournament was good, I really enjoyed those matches. Vincent and Cross put on quite a show. The main event though... didn't care for it. I felt that a few stars were presented a bit weak. For instance, (Remember, this is my opinion.) Creep is alot more tough than how he was portrayed. I should know. Also, the Champion.. Xplode. He was really not written well. I mean, what kind of champion makes that many bad calls of judgement? Lincoln was done fine. MDA.. also a tad bit under written. Sort of a frantic, chaotic match with only one person tended to.
The aftermath was nice. Though, what happened to Xplode? He sort of disappeared. I am so stoked that Jeremy is back though! Made my night!
So, this sort of brought the show down for me. The promos were great though! D-bawls returning is a very good thing!
Favorite Match:
Vincent versus Cross.
Favorite Face:
Chris Sabora. He truly does his thing well.
Favorite Heel:
Xplode. His promo with 415 was hilarious! Loved that. The Terry Jones bit was good too.
Favorite overall character:
Right now I am going to say Xplode, Chris Sabora or Brett Cross. Yes, Xplode was not a winner. Though, it was not his doing. His segments are good reading. Sabora is flawless. Too bad we won't see Honor N' Vindication go one on one. Brett Cross is a tale that I truly enjoy. You know my style, tell a story worth reading. It should have action, excitement, and energy... Brett does that.
Either Chris Sabora, Chance Fusion, or Brett Cross is going to get a chance at the Pure Title. How is this going to effect the landscape of EUW? Is MdA ready? Will these men be able to wait a week before they tear each other apart?
All 3 of these men are the top of the line. This will be interesting.
Terry Jones was laid out before the main event. Who is this mystery attacker? How will Xplode respond? How does all this relate to the strange events of the last few weeks? What is in store for our Heavyweight Champion and will he be able to weather it?
I think things are really beginning to come full circle for Xplode. You can't run around stepping on folks and not think it won't catch up to you. With Terry Jones laid out, the stalker is obviously turning it up a notch. Very scary.
Four men have been announced for the Downpour, and they are already at each others throats. What deal have Xander and Sterling made? What is Creep's condition after the beat down e suffered? And who is the fifth man and Lincoln's partner?
This scenario is absolute chaos. The end result will be epic.

Overall, what'd you think?
I thought it was good. The Pure tourney stole the show. I enjoyed that. I agree with Obi about my match. Hated it. Oh well, life moves on.
Favorite Match: Sabora versus 415. I liked how the teacher/student thing was addressed. The match went back and forth. Great ending.
Favorite Face: Chris Sabora.
Favorite Heel: James Vincent. I also want to mention Chance Fusion. Dammit man, I am loving your heel stuff. I have an eye for the bad guy thing and brotha, you are making me proud!
Favorite overall character: Chris Sabora/ Brett Cross. Both of these men write stories that are more than roleplays. They are... stories. You read them and enjoy it. They are not simple behind the scenes stuff but much deeper than that. This week, they both really shined.
Either Chris Sabora, Chance Fusion, or Brett Cross is going to get a chance at the Pure Title. How is this going to effect the landscape of EUW? Is MdA ready? Will these men be able to wait a week before they tear each other apart?
Well, all I got to say is... I hope MDA has a doozy of a tale to tell. I know those three guys do.
Terry Jones was laid out before the main event. Who is this mystery attacker? How will Xplode respond? How does all this relate to the strange events of the last few weeks? What is in store for our Heavyweight Champion and will he be able to weather it?
Not cool. Terry Jones is a damn legend. Xplode will respond... and he will get to the bottom of things. As for the question of will he last? I am sure he would tell you... "Don't I always?"
Four men have been announced for the Downpour, and they are already at each others throats. What deal have Xander and Sterling made? What is Creep's condition after the beat down e suffered? And who is the fifth man and Lincoln's partner?
Wow. Back 2 Roots is gonna be big this year isn't it? All of these guys are the best around.

The fault for the Main Event not being great goes to me guys. I think part of it has to do with rushing. I had everything else done first, so I was kinda hurrying to get it done. In addition, which I've probably made this mistake before, once I see the finish in my mind, I go ahead and build towards and have it happen. And sometimes I see the finish before it's really time to put it in place. Anyways, I'll keep that in mind for later.

In the match's defense, and this is no excuse just an attempt at IC explanation...
MdA no-showed. Sure he's a great talent but part of it has to go down to that. I know he had a reason for it, but that's how it works. And also, Xplode may have made all of those calls because the stresses of the past weeks. All of this stuff may be getting to him, and then Terry Jones this week? It would be to much for me, so it's probably to much for the champ, too.
Just an attempt at an IC explanation.

Both good points. (Tom is gonna be a great teacher one day. He can really break down a story and make sense of it.)
Warrior, it happens. Don't worry over it. I have written a few that I have read later and said "wtf, that didn't sound as good on the show as it did in my head." LOL, I remember MDA being pissed too. Anyway, don't trip over it. Was just an opinion.

You're absolutely right, Oblivion. I usually tend to make it a habit to rate the shows, but sometimes I find myself lacking to do so. ----------------
Rating: 8.6
Overall, what'd you think? The show seemed to have one main purpose and that was to forward all the current feuds. All the feuds were put into motion, especially the Downpour. The matches were ok, but the regular flow of promos was able to make the show a B+ in my book
Favorite Match: Sabora vs. 415, mainly due to the importance of it for both competitors.
Favorite Face: Sabora was cool and intense as usual. And The Creep, if he's considering one that is. Favorite Heel: Xplode is classy as usual, other than that I can't judge much based on the matches.
Favorite overall character: As always, this is a tough one. I'm gonna have to give the label this week to......Terry Jpnes. Not only did he serve as Xplode's cooling factor, but he managed to actually make himself useful by being assaulted by the mystery stalker and thus "thickening the plot"
Either Chris Sabora, Chance Fusion, or Brett Cross is going to get a chance at the Pure Title. How is this going to effect the landscape of EUW? Is MdA ready? Will these men be able to wait a week before they tear each other apart? Mda will have his hands full come Back 2 Roots, but I'm sure Mda can take care of himself
Terry Jones was laid out before the main event. Who is this mystery attacker? How will Xplode respond? How does all this relate to the strange events of the last few weeks? What is in store for our Heavyweight Champion and will he be able to weather it? Xplode's going to go paranoid and stab a little girl to death. Whoever this mystery stalker is, he's good.
Four men have been announced for the Downpour, and they are already at each others throats. What deal have Xander and Sterling made? What is Creep's condition after the beat down e suffered? And who is the fifth man and Lincoln's partner? Like I said, one of the shows' strongest points was how the Downpour was vastly advanced. Come to think of it, we have both a mystery stalker and a mystery partner. Who knew EUW was deep.

Are they one in the same?
The Downpour is a shot for that World Title, after all...

When is this downpour elimination match? Is it a Back 2 Roots event? Thought I would ask, this is my first Back 2 Roots.

Yup, it's an annual thing. Every year at Back 2 Roots, just like KOTM and Hourglass Hours.

This is an excerpt from Back 2 Roots '08 in which Warrior explains the rules, for those who are unfamiliar with the match.
Downpour Elimination match! Now I’ve explained these rules before, but I’ll say them once more. The match will begin as a Six Man Elimination Tag Match. It will continue with eliminations until two men have been eliminated. Once two are eliminated, it will shift styles to a Four Way Match. These four men left will fight tooth and nail until only one is left. And that man will be given a shot at the EUW World Heavyweight Championship!
