Prestige opens up to a sold out arena in Earl’s Court that is more than ready for the show to get under way. The camera pans to show several signs including classics like “Don’t Fire Hi Octane” and newer more unique ones such as “Where is Lo Hydro?”, “My Common Sense is Tingling!”, and even “Daddy Warry”. A highlight video is shown which focuses in one many of the events of the past weeks building to Prestige. The video appears short though, and just as it ends, the action is ready to go.
John Walt: Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to Prestige! The night where we go back to classic wrestling with nothing but Pure Rules matches! Just so everyone is aware, I’m going to go over the official EUW Pure Rules one time. Each wrestler has three rope breaks to stop submission holds and pinfalls during the match. After a wrestler exhausts his rope breaks, submission and pin attempts under the ropes by the opponent are considered legal. There are no closed-fist punches to the face allowed in a Pure match, only open-handed slaps or chops to the face are allowed. Punches to other parts of the body (save for low-blows) are permitted. The first use of a closed fist will get a warning, and the second will cause the wrestler to be penalized a rope break. If he is already out of rope breaks, he will be disqualified. A wrestler is subject to a twenty count by the referee if the wrestler goes to the floor. Unlike other championships, the EUW Pure Championship can change hands on a disqualification or count out. And in a Tag Team Contest contest under Pure Rules, each team has only three rope breaks, instead of both members getting three. In addition, rope breaks can also be lost for going over the allotted five count if the illegal member of your team is in the ring. We’re going to get the action under way right off the bat with our opening contest! The following Pure Rules Match is scheduled for one fall, and if Diabolik wins then he and Chris Sabora will be guaranteed a future shot at the EUW Tag Team Titles!
All the lights go out, then Mr Writer starts up. Diabolik walks out slowly, and the lights go on red. The crowd boos, but Diabolik ignores them completely. He walks down the ramp, and reaches the ring.
John Walt: Introducing first...weighing in at 247 pounds...from Middlesbrough, England...Diabolik!
He lights go on to normal, and he hits his head off the ring a few times, before slowly climbing up onto the side of the ring and rolling in. He goes into a corner, and sits there, head in his hands, waiting for his opponent.
John Walt: And his opponent...weighing in at 190 pounds...from parts unknown...“The Young One” Joe Dark!
"Given Up" starts playing as several fireballs start firing out of the stage. A ring of fire starts in the middle of the stage as Joe Dark rise through the flames. The walk out as the fire dies down and they walk to the ring. Joe slides in and waits in the ring for the match to start.
The bell rings as both men move in, going for a collar and elbow tie up. Joe quickly transitions into a headlock, wrenching at the neck of Diabolik. Diabolik shoves him off though, knocking Joe into the ropes. Joe bounces off the ropes and runs back towards Diabolik as he caught by an armdrag that brings him right to the mat. Diabolik stays on him, now catching Joe in a classic headlock will still on the ground. Joe begins to get to his feet, but Diabolik holds the headlock on. Joe does the same as Diabolik did, shoving him off and into the ropes. Diabolik scouts this though and hits a standing hurracanrana on Joe Dark.
JJ: What a counter by Diabolik there!
Larry: From the ground to the air in seconds.
Diabolik and Joe both get to their feet quickly as Diabolik attempts a jumping swinging ddt. Joe shoves him off while in the air though, causing Diabolik to land chest first on the mat. Joe quickly goes to him and locks on a camel clutch. Joe pulls back at the neck of Diabolik, hoping for the submission. Diabolik tries to power out, but to no avail. Joe gives one last tug and Diabolik appears ready to give up when he suddenly managed to get a hand on the bottom rope. The referee forces Joe to break the hold, but alerts Diabolik that he is down one rope break.
JJ: And there’s the pure rules coming into play for the first time in this match.
Larry: That’ll be the first of many times tonight.
Joe gets off of Diabolik, but sees that the damage has been done. Joe sees his chance as he quickly scales the turnbuckle while Diabolik slowly gets to his feet. Once Diabolik is up, Joe leaps off the turnbuckle for the Final Note. Diabolik rolls out of the way though as Joe crashes to the ground without making contact. Diabolik also takes a chance now, climbing the turnbuckle and waiting for Joe to rise. Once on his feet, Joe turns and sees Diabolik leap off for a flying clothesline. Joe thinks fast, leaping to his feet for a dropkick. The kick connects and nails Diabolik right in the shoulder, causing him to spin slightly before hitting the mat arm first.
JJ: That move seriously backfired!
Larry: Quick thinking by Joe though.
Joe rolls over and grabs Diabolik’s arm before he can move away, wrenching him into a classic armbar. Joe pulls back on Diabolik’s arm, but doesn’t factor in ring positioning. Diabolik most likely would have been ready to tap in that position, but got his feet under the ropes as the referee forced the second rope break of the match. Joe reluctantly relases as he backed away, allowing Diabolik to his feet. Joe tried to stay on the offensive, trying to go in and hit a modified neckbreaker. Diabolik stays out of this though, and manages a quick belly to belly suplex. Diabolik hooks the leg of Joe after this move for 1...2...but Dark kicks out.
JJ: There’s the first pinfall of the match.
Larry: But it’s going to take more than a belly to belly to finish off someone like Joe Dark.
Diabolik rolls away before getting to his feet. Moving in, Diabolik attempts a fisherman suplex, but Joe fights out of it. Joe quickly whips Diabolik into the ropes after the counter, but Diabolik gives a counter of his own. After bouncing off the ropes Diabolik catches Joe in a quick Lou Thesz Press. Following the press and instinct, Diabolik quickly punches Joe in the temple two times before rolling off. The referee doesn’t have a chance to warn Diabolik after the first punch and is forced to dock him a rope break. Diabolik argues with the referee over this, saying that he should only be given a warning, but the referee has no choice.
JJ: With all his rope breaks gone, Diabolik needs to be careful now.
Larry: An accidental punch could get him disqualified now, and he needs to be very wary of submission holds...hey...I rhymed! Very wary very wary very wary....
Diabolik turns away from the referee as Joe has gotten to his feet by now. Diabolik rushes in and moves around Joe, quickly catching him in a full nelson suplex. Diabolik rolls around and hooks the leg on Joe hoping for a quick pin and gets 1...2...but Joe kicks out. Diabolik is getting frustrated now as he lifts Joe to his feet and hits a swinging neckbreaker. Diabolik goes for the pin once more and gets 1...2...but Joe gets a shoulder up once more.
JJ: Diabolik is losing his focus now, he needs to be careful.
Larry: Focus or not, this could be the damage he needs to do in order to win this one.
Diabolik lifts Joe off the ground again and lands a side Russian leg sweep. He hooks the leg for yet another two count. Diabolik lifts him off the ground, only for Joe to duck around him and land a dragon suplex. Joe bridges the move into a pin, garnering 1...2...but Diabolik pushes out of it. Joe slowly rolls to his feet, but Diabolik ends up on his feet first. Diabolik kicks Joe in the knee, causing him to kneel for a moment. While Joe is getting back to his feet, Diabolik runs and bounces off the ropes for the Springboard Stunner. Diabolik hooks the leg for 1...2..and finally...3!
John Walt: And here is your winner by pinfall...Diabolik!
JJ: What a win there by Diabolik. It looked like things weren’t going to go his way for a while, but he pulled it out.
Larry: And now him and Chris Sabora are going to get a shot at the Tag Titles. Eventually.
Kyo stood outside of the arena with a Pepsi in hand. He looked out to the dark sky where the moon shined bright. Some kids passed by Kyo as he took a sip of his drink. He sighed as he started to walk around away from the arena and to wards where the kids walked from. As he walked down the sidewalk he saw a group of kids laughing and pointing down a dark ally. Once, he got close enough to see what was down the ally he looked from the corner of his eye. What he saw was nothing big, it was just one of the kids falling over. Kyo's nose smelt beer on the kids, so he sped up and stop at a street lamp. As he looked back he saw one of the kids holding up a beer to him.
Kid: What one?
Kyo looked at the kid as he rocked back and forth drunk as hell. He laugh abit and started to walk away.
Kyo: No.
Kid: Why?
The kid was walking next to Kyo. But, once Kyo heard his voice he jumped abit. He stopped and looked at the kid, who was starting to drool.
Kyo: Because it's sickening.
Kid: Lies....Its the greatest thing to drink in the world. Come on the world is awesome with beer.
Kyo: No! Go away before I kick your ass ok?
Once Kyo yelled that the kid ran so fast that he was with his friends already. Kyo turned and kept walking down the road with his Pepsi. As he walked he looked up at the sky and saw a blimp for a beer company. His eye twitched as he watched it go by.
Kyo: Ok thats it I'm gonna go back to my room and hope to god that nothing is wrong there. God damn it...I think god wants me to drink that disgusting shit. Well to bad. I'm not gonna go and drink some of it so i can have a good time. I can have a good time wrestling and not wasting my time drinking. But, to bad I can't stop that with everyone in the world. But, I can stop the people who influence them and thats good enough for me.
Kyo walked down an ally as the darkness surrounded him.
JJ: Well that was, different. Anyways, up next its time for our grudge match that we have all been waiting for, its Chris Sabora against Ryan Firestone.
Larry: This match is going to be one for the ages. So lets get it going.
The lights go out and Sinner by Drowning Pool begins to play and as Ryan steps out on the entrance stage red pyros erupt and he bathes in the sparks as if they cleanse him. The crowd erupts in boos as he slowly makes his way down towards the ring.
John Walt: Making his way to the ring at this time. He hails from Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina and weighs in at 323 lbs. He is Ryan Firesssttttonnnee!
Ryan then jumps up on the apron and then hops over the ropes. He flexes and hops around, pumping himself up as he awaits Sabora.
Chris walks out onto the stage to a huge pop from the fans. With both hands on his hips, he looks around the arena and smiles. Making his way to the ramp entrance, Chris points both hands up in the air as fireworks explode.
Walt: And his opponent weighing in at 265 lbs and standing 6 feet tall. He is “The Submission Machine” Chris Sabbbbooraaaa!
"Kryptonite" by 3 Doors Down pounds the audio as Chris Makes his way to the ring. Rolling under the ropes, Chris bounces around and checks the tape on his hands. Standing across the ring from Ryan the house lights come on and the music dies down.
The ref points to the timekeeper who rings the bell signalling the start of the match. Ryan and Chris start to walk towards each other, their eyes fixed on one another, the intensity in the ring is unbearable. They meet in the middle of the ring their heads touching one another’s, both men exchange heated words with each other. Ryan seems to have enough of the trash talk and goes to slap Chris in the face, Sabora however ducks and tackles Ryan hitting punches to Ryan’s face. The ref pulls Chris off and gives him a warning for using closed fist punches.
JJ: Chris’s anger seemed to have got the better of him there. If he hits another closed fist punch he will lose one of his three rope breaks.
Larry: Yep his UFC ground and pound techniques are no good in this match.
Ryan starts to get back to his feet as Chris pushes the ref away and stays on the offensive. Locking in an armbar Chris wrenches back causing Ryan to shout in pain. Ryan is just a few feet away from the ropes but doesn’t go to grab them as he knows he will lose a rope break. Grabbing Chris by his arm Ryan starts to force Sabora off of his arm. In a feat of amazing strength Ryan manages to pull himself free and escape the hold. Shocked by this Chris gets up and tries to stomp Ryan who quickly moves out of the ring, he then grabs Chris’s legs and pulls him down and to the outside.
JJ: This match is going to get ugly.
Larry: And with a 20 count enforced it’s going to be a long brawl. These guys might just kill each other.
Ryan grabs Chris round the waist and slams his back into the ring post, Chris’s spine crushes against the steel as Ryan drops him to the floor. The ref has reached a 5 count as Ryan begins stomping Chris and at a 10 count Ryan finally rolls Chris back into the ring. Ryan taunts the crowd shouting that he is the bigger man. Seeing and opportunity Ryan locks in a sharpshooter on Sabora. Chris screams out in agony as Ryan laughs while pulling on Chris’s legs, causing even more pain. The ref keeps asking Chris if he wants to quit, to which Chris replies no!. Being just a foot away from the bottom rope Chris sees no other option but to grab the rope causing the submission to be broken and a rope break to be deducted.
JJ: With that rope break used it leaves Chris with just 2 left.
Larry: Yep and don’t forget he has already received a warning from the ref about using closed fist punches.
Ryan smiles broadly as he goes to grab Chris, the crowds boos fill and echo around Earls Court, which just makes Ryan smile even more. Hitting a couple of punches to Chris’s chest Ryan grabs Chris by the throat and goes to hit “Darkness Rises”. Picking Chris up Ryan goes to slam him down however Chris manages to wriggle out of hit, dropping down to the canvas Chris surges up and hits a devastating spear, knocking the giant Firestone down. The crowd cheer in excitement as both Chris and Ryan lie in the ring both taken aback by that last move.
JJ: Where in the hell did Chris find that surge of energy!
Larry: I don’t know but he could really use this to mount a comeback.
Chris starts to stir first closely followed by Ryan. Chris eventually gets to his feet and sees that Ryan has done so also, trying to knock the big man down Chris hits an open hand chop to the chest of Firestone. This knocks Ryan back who retaliates with a chop of his own, the slap reverberates around the arena as the crowd gasp. Chris then hits an slap to the face of Ryan, pissed off by this Ryan hits a hard punch to the nose of Chris causing him to grab his face as blood trickles from his nose. The ref warns Ryan who gets pushed aside, annoyed at his behaviour the ref deducts one rope break from him leaving both men with just two rope breaks.
Larry: Never piss Ryan Firestone off.
JJ: Yep and it looks like both Chris and the ref are going to find this out the hard way.
Ryan starts to argue with the ref barking insults at him. Meanwhile Chris starts to get up, the bottom of his face covered in blood from his broken nose. Grabbing Ryan Chris hits a devastating lung blower, however Chris doesn’t let go and turns it into a cross face chicken wing. Ryan shouts in pain as the ref keeps asking him whether he gives up. Just like Chris before Ryan keeps shouting no! as the crowd cheer loudly for Sabora. Ryan starts to try and wriggle out of the hold however Chris stops this. Seeing no other way Ryan manages move his arm and grab the bottom rope. The ref sees this and forces Chris to break the hold and deducts another rope break from Ryan leaving him with just one left.
JJ: What an amazing move there by Sabora leaving Ryan with just one rope break left.
Larry: Yep and Ryan had better make sure his temper doesn’t get the better of him as it could leave him with no rope breaks.
Ryan holds his throat and gasps for air as Chris gets up. Running towards Ryan Chris goes for a knee to the face, Ryan however moves out of the way causing Chris to crotch himself on the ropes. Ryan then goes to grab Sabora however he is met with a swift kick to his left leg sending him down in a heap. Sabora then climbs on top of him and again hits some hard punches to Ryan’s face. The ref again pulls Sabora off and deducts one of his rope breaks leaving them both with just one left. Ryan grabs his bruised face and crawls to the corner, as Chris is being held back by the referee.
JJ: Chris again goes for those devastating punches and loses another rope break for it.
Larry: He really isn’t that smart is he.
With the rope breaks depleated to one each, Firestone is beginning to get frustrated. In a fit of rage and a hope to deal significant damage, Firestone breaks through the referee and clocks Chris Sabora in the head with a stiff and hard right hand punch. Sabora staggers from the impact as the referee yells at Firestone and docks him his last rope break. Firestone ignores him though, and swings once more. The punch doesn’t connect though, disallowing the disqualification. Instead, Sabora catches the punch and pulls Firestone into The Machine in one fluid motion. Firestone’s feet are clearly under the ropes, but with no rope breaks left, Firestone is forced to begin tapping out frantically.
John Walt: And here is your winner by submission...Chris Sabora!
JJ: That’s a clean sweep for Sabora and Diabolik.
Larry: Just the kind of momentum a rising team needs.
Referees finally pull Sabora off and with Firestone trying to recover, Sabora has a short celebration about his win and finishing of this intense feud. Just then, the feed cuts backstage to the office of King Carter, and apparently the headquarters of Pangaea. Standing across from King is Oblivion, appearing almost like he’s pitching an idea.
Oblivion: To make Pangaea truly dominant and make the numbers closer to that of ‘The Eh Team’, I think we should get another powerful member.
King Carter: Did you have anyone in mind?
Oblivion: Just one man. Xplode.
King Carter: Well. One does not just find themself awarded a place in a group, nay, an organization such as Pangaea. They must earn it. Like those before him, Xplode needs to prove his worth. So, I propose an opportunity. If, and only if, Xplode can come to me after his match with the Pure Championship around his waist, he will get the privilege of being a member of Pangaea.
Oblivion smiles and exits the room, most likely to go talk to Xplode about the current situation. With his exit, the feed now cuts back to the arena as the Tag Team Title match is ready go get under way.
The opening of "Welcome Home" by Coheed and Cambria rings through the arena as bright red and blue lights begin to flicker. Just as it picks up, Chance runs out onto the stage, jumping around and screaming with energy and intensity.
John Walt: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the EUW Tag Team Championships! Introducing first....from Tampa, Florida...weighing in at 252 pounds...he is Chance Fusion!
Chance makes sure to get the crowd loud and excited quick, before slowing down a bit and making his way down the ramp, slapping the hands of fans all the way down. Once to the ring, Chance goes up the rings steps and steps into the ring. Once in he makes a final taunt towards the crowd to receive a loud reaction before preparing himself for the match.
John Walt: And his partner....from Georgia...weighing in at 230 pounds....Timothy Sullivan!
"One Day Remains" by Alter Bridge begins to play. Timothy walks out from behind the stage. The song builds as a pyro errupts on the ramp. He walks down the ramp as the song continues to play. Sullivan walks up the ring steps and climbs into the ring. The song cuts off as he stands, awaiting his opponent.
John Walt: And their opponents, making their way to the ring at a combined weight of 415 pounds...they are the current reigning EUW Tag Team Champions....the Royal Shakespeare Wrestling Company!
'Kickstart My Heart' by Motley Crue plays in the arena, Xander X, Princess Firepower, and Hi Octane come through the curtain as red, orange, and gold sparks ran from the ceiling. They look at each other and run down the entrance ramp, Hi Octane pulling Princess Firepower behind him. All three slide into the ring and go to a turn buckle. They raise their arms for the crowd and jump down to meet in the center of the ring. Princess Firepower grabs each wrestler's wrist and lifts them into the air.
Hi Octane and Chance Fusion start of the match. The two superstars circle each other, neither making the first move. They continue to circle, the crowds cheers growing louder and louder with every second. Hi Octane finally stops in front of a neutral turnbuckle. He climbs the turnbuckle and holds him arms up to the cheers of the crowd, before jumping down. Chance Fusion smiles at Hi Octane and does the same things.
JJ: Well these two sure like to get the crowd into the match.
The two men meet in the center of the ring and touch hands in respect. They quickly tie up. Struggling back and forth, Fusion get the advantage with a kick to the mid section of Hi Octane. Fusion goes for a DDT, but Octane slips out of it and hits a clothesline on Fusion. Both men quickly get to their feet and square off again. They dash in for a tie up, and Chance Fusion quickly suplexes Octane.
Larry: Crowd shmowd. Time for the action!
Taking advantage of his downed opponent, Fusion tags in Sullivan and quickly climbs out of the ring. Sullivan immediately wraps Octane up in an armbar. Octane screams in pain. Sullivan wrenches in the move harder. Octane manages to squirm and wiggle closer to the ropes, finally getting a hand on it. The ref signals Sullivan to break the move and that RSWC has used one ropebreak.
JJ: And there’s the pure rules coming into play. Good to note that the teams are allotted three rope breaks, not the wrestlers.
Octane starts to crawl to his corner, but Sullivan drops his elbow on his back. Sullivan flips Octane over and grabs his legs. He tries to put him in the sharpshooter. Octane throws a hard right hand punch to Sullivan’s head. Sullivan staggers back. The ref warns Octane about the closed fist punches. Octane manages to get to his feet. Sullivan charges at Octane, but Octane dives to his corner and tags in Xander X.
Larry: But here’s the quick tag. Xander’s looking to capitalize.
Xander runs in on the hot tag and clotheslines Sullivan. Xander doesn’t stop as he rushes at Fusion in the opposite corner. Fusion jumps off the apron, dodging Xander. Xander points at Fusion before turning around and colliding with a dropkick from Sullivan. Xander staggers back into the corner. Sullivan is on him immediately, hitting him with a clothesline of his own. Sullivan wraps his arm around Xander’s head and drives Xander to the mat with a bulldog. Sullivan tags in Chance Fusion. Fusion drops a knee on Xander. Fusion picks up Xander and drops him back to the mat with a Protoplex.
JJ: Protoplex right there. This could be the momentum the Eh Team needs.
Fusion stands over the downed Xander and taunts to the crowd, causing them to cheer. Fusion grabs Xander by the hair and drags him to his feet. Fusion signals for the Jigsaw, but Xander twists out of his way and shoves Fusion into the ropes. Fusion falls down and lands on the second rope, only to be caught with a forearm to the head from Princess Firepower. Fusion falls back into the ring. The ref didn’t see Firepower’s interference, but decides she is a distraction on the out side. The ref ejects Princess Firepower from the arena.
Larry: And there goes the Firepower. Hahahaha.
Xander takes advantage of the downed Fusion, hitting him with a few boots. Xander picks up Fusion and whips him into the corner as hard as he can. Fusion bounces off the turnbuckle and falls to the ground. Xander rushes at the corner, jumps over Fusion, bounces off the bottom rope, and drops and elbow on Fusion. Xander goes for the pin. 1… 2… Fusion gets his foot on the rope. The ref signals for Xander to break the pin, and that the Eh Team has used a ropebreak. Xander tries to take advantage of the downed Fusion, but Fusion shoves him away. Fusion manages to tag in his partner, Sullivan.
JJ: There’s the tag Fusion needed. Now Sullivan needs to take advantage.
Sullivan and Xander rush at each other. Xander goes for a clothesline, but Sullivan ducks. Sullivan grabs Xander for a German suplex, but Xander manages to block it. Xander tries to go for a hip toss, but Sullivan slips out. Sullivan kicks Xander in the gut and goes for a DDT. Xander counters the DDT, and kicks Sullivan in the stomach. Xander grabs Sullivan and hits the Knockout Bomb. Rather than going for the pin, Xander tags in Hi Octane. Xander stomps on Sullivan a few times as the ref starts to count. Xander runs across the ring, and knocks Fusion off the apron. Xander dives out after him. Octane climbs the top rope and leaps. Octane hits the Hi Dive on Sullivan. Octane hooks the leg. 1… 2… 3!
John Walt: And here are your winners and STILL the EUW Tag Team Champions...the Royal Shakespeare Wrestling Company!
Larry: That Sullivan taking enough advantage for you?
JJ: Well, uhh. What an amazing tag team match that was, truly old school wrestling.
Larry: Yeah...right. Anyways, it’s time for a grudge match that I think we’ve all been itching to see.
JJ: That’s right, it’s time for Jeremy Sterling and Michael de’ Archangel to face off once again.
The lights in the arena begin to dim as the opening guitar sounds to the beginning of "Learn to Fly" by the Foo Fighters. The majority of the crowd begins to cheer as they know that it is Jeremy Sterling that is coming. White and sky blue lights begin to light up the ramp floor, making it appear as if it were the sky with clouds. Once the opening lyrics begin to play Jeremy Sterling walks out onto the stage finally to an eruption of cheers.
John Walt: Coming to the ring at this time, hailing from Sterling Virginia. He is Jeremy Sterrrrrliinnggg!!
He walks solemnly down towards the ring, prepared for a fight. Once he reaches the ring he jumps onto the apron then goes under the top rope to get into the ring. Once in the ring he rolls his neck and cracks his fingers as he anticipates the arrival of Michael.
The lights go out and a red glowing fog comes from the entrance way as "Indestructible" By Disturbed begins to play. As the Sirens in the music begin red and white police light begin to flash. As the guitars kick in, two large white fireworks goes off and spotlight like stobes begin to flash from around the arena all pointing to one spot where Michael and Saraphim are now standing.
Walt: And his opponent, standing 6 feet 5 inches and weighing in at 260 lbs. Accompanied by Saraphim, he is Michael de’Archangel!!
Walking to the ring, Michael is focused and the lights follow him all the way down. Stopping at the foot of the ring, Saraphim walks up and stands in front of him starring at the crowd. Michael turns her head slightly and she kisses him on the cheek. She moves out of his way and he slides slowly into the ring and stands in the center with a spotlight directly on him. Saraphim enters after and proceeds to take off his outer coat and get ready for the match.
Both men stand in their respective corners as they stare at each other with a deep stare. The ref looks at both men and rings the bell signalling the start of the match. Jeremy then charges at Michael hitting a high knee straight to the face of de Archangel. Michael flies back into the turnbuckles as Jeremy stays on the offensive with a range of kicks to the mid section and the legs. Trying to capitalise on a fallen Michael, Jeremy climbs onto the top turnbuckle and goes for a hurricanrana. While attempting this move Michael grabs onto Jeremy’s legs and reverses the move into a hugely devastating power bomb.
JJ: What an awesome reversal there from Michael.
Larry: Yeh if he hadn’t have pulled that out of the bag then Jeremy would have had this match over in a flash.
Going for a pin Michael hooks the leg 1…2…*kickout* Michael tries to stay on the offensive and locks in a one legged boston crab. Jeremy shouts in pain as his spine wrenched back by Michael who shouts at Jeremy telling him to quit. Jeremy keeps shouting no and tries to get himself out of the submission. Michael overpowers him however and keeps him in the boston crab position. Dragging himself closer and closer to the ropes Sterling eventually gets a hand on the bottom rope causing the ref to break the hold and take away one of Sterlings rope breaks.
JJ: That was a smart move there from Jeremy, if he was in that hold much longer he would have tapped out and lost the match.
Larry: Yeh but now he only has 2 rope breaks left and if he uses those up he’s done for.
Waiting for Sterling to get up Michael crouches down slightly as if getting ready to spear Jeremy. Jeremy eventually reaches a standing position as Michael charges at him at full speed. Jeremy however ducks down and grabs the top rope sending Michael down to the floor. Michael falls through and crashes to the mats headfirst. Saraphim approaches Michael who is now grasping his head in pain, she checks to see if he’s ok and shouts at Jeremy who is stood in the ring smirking at Michael. Michael starts to get to his feet and tells Saraphim not to worry. However out of nowhere Jeremy dives over the top rope with a suicide senton flip causing both him and Michael to crash against the floor and barricade. The ref starts the 2O count as both men lay at ringside.
JJ: Jeremy really is not letting up on Michael is he.
Larry: However with that suicide dive he may have just taken himself out of this match.
The ref reaches 6 as Michael is the first to get up, Jeremy seems to have injured his leg on the barricade from the senton dive. Michael sees his opponents’ injury and starts to exploit it by stomping on Sterlings leg. Michael then picks him up and rolls him back into the ring as the ref reaches 1O. Staying on his foes injury Michael carries on stomping Jeremy’s leg. De Archangel then proceeds to lock in a figure four leg lock which causes Jeremy to scream out in tremendous agony. Situated near the ropes Michael knows that Jeremy is going to have to grab them at some point. Wrenching back further Jeremy shouts out even more, however he is determined not to give up. Rolling his shoulders Sterling starts to turn both him and Michael over causing the submission to be reversed. The crowd cheer as Michael can be seen shouting in pain, his face staring at the bottom rope. With nothing else to do Michael grabs the rope causing him to go down to 2 rope breaks.
JJ: Both men are now even with just 2 rope breaks.
Larry: Yep and its when those rope breaks go that these men have to be careful.
Michael grabs his legs in pain as Sterling hobbles up. Walking towards Michael, Jeremy grabs him by his hair getting ready to deliver a cradle piledriver. Michael however delivers a hard low blow much to the dislike of the fans and the referee who warns Michael that if he does that again he will have a rope break taken from him. Michael ignores this however and gets extremely angry. Pulling Jeremy up to his feet Michael hits some hard closed fist punches to the face of Jeremy causing his lip to be bust open. The ref pushes Michael back and deducts a rope break from him leaving him with just the one. Jeremy tries to pull himself up using the ropes as Michael argues with the ref. Seeing an opportunity Sterling uses the last slither of adrenaline he has left and delivers a pele to Michael just as he turns round.
JJ: What a kick there from Sterling!
Larry: That seems to have taken it out of Jeremy who is now in a heap on the floor along with Michael.
The ref looks at the carnage around him as Saraphim shouts to Michael, trying to get him to wake up. Both men start to stir and try to get to their feet, Sterling has to use the ropes to help him up, his legs still weary from before. Michael approaches Sterling, his fists clenched looking as if he wants to punch Jeremy even more. Going for a giant right hook Jeremy ducks out of the way and manages to hit a lung blower to the back of Michael. Jeremy then quickly tries to lock in his finisher the Angelic Diablo. Going to grapevine Michael’s legs Jeremy starts to have trouble as Michael starts to force Jeremy back and takes him down. Michael then locks in an Angelic Diablo of his own as the crowd boo’s loudly.
JJ: The crowd isn’t liking this one bit.
Larry: He doesn’t give a damn about the crowd. He’s in it to win it!
Jeremy is stuck near the ropes as his own finishing move is being used on him. Crawling nearer and nearer Michael keeps wrenching back. Getting just inches to the ropes Jeremy finally grabs the bottom rope leaving him with just one final rope break left. Michael lets go of the submission and laughs as the crowd boo him even more. Still trying to keep on the offensive Michael picks Jeremy up and whips him into the ropes on the return Michael picks Jeremy up and hits a devastating side walk slam. Hooking the leg Michael gets a 1….2..*kickout*. Both men take a moment to rise at their feet, neither rushing it at first. Suddenly the rage and tension built and built between the two causes them to snap. Both men bullrush each other and end up rolling to the outside in an all out fist fight brawl. The referee doesn’t know which man threw the first punch, if there even was one. And due to a double docking of all rope breaks, the referee calls for security to restrain the two as he calls the double disqualification.
John Walt: Ladies and gentlemen. The referee has ruled this match a double disqualification.
Michael and Sterling attempt to keep the fight going, but an amazingly numerous amount of security show up and cart the men off to the back, keeping them a good distance from each other. The camera’s return to the ring where two steel chairs are set up, nobody knows what is for. The EUW fans are confused when the lights dim, and the arena goes quiet. A light shines down on the entrance stage, but nothing happens for a matter of moments.
JJ: What the hell is going on?
Larry: Not sure, we have a jam packed pay per view event here tonight and now two black steel chairs are set up and the lights out but a single light.
As moments continue the arena goes black as a video begins on the titration, it begins to play several matches from EUW. Including matches from Evan Black, Jeremy Sterling and Lincoln Daggerson. It finishes with not a countdown, but a sand clock upside down as the sand is quickly dripping through. As it continues, flashing darkened images of a man hitting a Superkick begins to play as it continues to drip down.
JJ: What the hell, is it a countdown?
Larry: Seems like it, but still unsure.
As it comes down to the final moments, fans are anticipated to see what is in store. As it finishes it explodes as a pyro hits at the exact same time, with “Gasoline - Seether” hit’s the pa system. The fans turn their attention towards the entrance stage as the arena is still dark but a spotlight on the stage. As they continue the sound of laughter is heard throughout the arena as the spotlight goes to the ring where Antonio Carter is sitting in one of the chairs.
JJ: How the hell did he get there?
Larry: Must have snuck in while we were paying our attention on the entrance stage.
Antonio is smiling as he is dressed in a black Armani suit with black shades covering his eyes. Hair slicked back, he has a cocky grin planted on his face. He stands to his feet as he reaches down and tosses the chairs out of the ring.
Antonio Carter: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome back.. Antonio “Fuckin” Carter. The man hailing from Detroit, Michigan.. And working towards his Pure Championship reign. But I did not come here tonight to praise myself all night, or did I? Well anyways, I am here to introduce to you all a new Experience. See this is an experience like no other. I am presenting a show much better than The Highlight Reel, better than Pipers Pit and a hell of a lot better than The Cutting Edge. This is The Carter Experience!
He snaps his fingers as two lazy boy sofas drop down on thick wire as workers slide in to unhook them as a plasma screen, similar to The Highlight Real comes down. In the right hand corner the letters TCE sits in the far right hand corner.
Antonio Carter: Alright now, tonight I am introducing this show with a special guest. Well I actually have two guest, but more on that in a bit. See I decided to make my return here because why shouldn’t I? I have been gone for about two months now, not because of injury. But because I was in search, search for my one person. But my personal life is none of your damn business.
The fans begins to boo as he smiles.
Antonio Carter: Now before I introduce my first guest, I want to explain something to you haters out there. I am one of the only men here in EUW who have been employed for two or so months and never to be pinned or to submitted. I know what you are saying; you were defeated at Pain is Vain. No shit, but I did not get pinned. I was eliminated and nothing more. So all you out there shall respect me, because I am simply better than any of you, and that is the damn truth. But without further ado, let me introduce my first guest. I know he is a man currently involved in heated rivalries at the moment, or is he? Anyways, please welcome Mathew Rodriguez.
"Made Of Scars"By Stone Sour echoes through the EUW stadium. Smoke falls down from the top of the Titan Tron and onto the steel ramps. A midget version of Mathew Rodriguez walks out as Antonio tries to hold back his laughter. He quickly runs down the ramp to make his way in. Antonio wipes a tear of laughter before he continues.
JJ: Are you serious, this is a disgrace.
Larry: Well there is a Pure Championship Match tonight, maybe this is Antonio’s way of saying he wants the title.
JJ: It has been clear about that since his debut Larry, haven’t you been watching.
Antonio Carter: Mathew Rodriguez, welcome to The Carter Experience. See I wanted you to come out here tonight because, I know you have a Pure Championship Match later tonight. See I came to EUW to claim my spot as Pure Champion. But who would have known, Evan Black bails before I can take it from him. But Mathew I can see you holding the title, who else could? Oh yeah, I can of course. But you could hold it and shine it up real nice, but I want to hear from you. Do you think you have what it takes?
Midget Rodriguez: You know what, I don’t. See it took a lot of money to get me in the title picture, and Warrior is a business man. But I think I won’t even entertain the fans later tonight. I am not preparing, I was just at McDonalds eating a Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese, and with a little extra cash, they brought back the Super Size.
Antonio Carter: Wait a minute, so you do not believe you can be champion. Alright, well that is quit interesting. But that brings me to my second guest of the evening. He is the current EUW Pure Champion, Xplode.
"Freak on a leash" by Korn blasts through the audio. Walking slowly down the rampway, A Fat Version of Xplode stops at the ring and drinks down the rest of his energy drink. Crushing it and tossing it aside, he rolls into the ring and has a struggle standing up but finally does.
JJ: This is just a disgrace to the sport of professional wrestling, what is wrong with Antonio?
Larry: He is just being Antonio.
Antonio Carter: Welcome Xplode to The Carter Experience. I see you held the title backstage, keeping it safe before your huge Championship Match Tonight?
Fat Xplode: No, I just got done eating it.
Antonio Carter: Excuse me, did you just say you ate it?
Fat Xplode: Correct, catering table had healthy food. So I dipped it in Ketchup and Mayo and ate it up, it tasted good with a bit of salt.
Antonio Carter: You ate a damn championship, you Fat Ass.
Midget Rodriguez: No need for name calling, kiss and make up.
Antonio Carter: I think not, but back to subject. Xplode, do you think you have what it takes to retain here tonight?
Fat Xplode: No, I am too hungry right now. I might not even show up.
Antonio Carter: You Won’t show up, how come?
Fat Xplode: I heard talk about Cheeseburger, it making me hungry. I am going to go get me one.
Antonio begins to laugh as he steps away for a moment, he rubs his chin. He removes his glasses and clips them on his white undershirt. He looks at the fat version of Xplode and hit’s a swift Superkick. Xplode falls back hard as the ring shakes.
Antonio Carter: Two words man, Slim Fast. But tonight does not matter to me, you both will learn. The next time EUW comes forth for a pay per view event, I will be there. And I will be contending for the Pure Championship, believe me when I say that. And for both of you, this has been Your Carter Experience.
He quickly hit’s a Superkick on the midget Rodriguez as he barley lifts his leg. He see’s the fat man down as he reaches over and picks him up and smiles. He shakes his head as he quickly hit’s The Carter Experience on him as he falls hard with Antonio sliding out the ring with a smile. “Gasoline - Seether” hit’s the pa system as the camera’s quickly go backstage with Antonio smiling in a cocky fashion. Eventually the two little men are cleared from the ring, as is any debris. All fun and games aside now, it’s time for the Pure Title Match. The championship that influence the entire pay per view is now going to be fought over in a true contest of skill.
Larry: So now we go to an interesting match up. This one is for the Pure title.
J.J: Well, I think the anticipation for this match has been at a all time high. What people do not realize is that the Pure title is a very prestigious strap. Past champions have used this opportunity as a spring board for the world championship.
Larry: Well, up to a few weeks ago, Evan Black had been in the driver's seat as he held this title without peer. Then things heated up.
J.J: That's right Larry. Rage Rodriguez and Xplode had a showdown for the number one contender for the Pure title and the results were complete chaos. Even though Xplode's foot was on the ropes, Rage was declared the winner.
Larry: Yup, then Xplode would prove to the world why he is the Strategic Assassin as he made life hell for Rage. With Evan Black dropping the belt due to personal reasons, Xplode would receive his vindication as he was once again put in the title picture.
J.J: That's right. To go even further, Xplode even took ownership of the Pure Championship and has been parading it around the company over the last few weeks. I bet this match will be huge!
Larry: I agree. Let's get to John Walt as he announces the competitors!
John Walt: Tonight match is set in Pure rules! It is scheduled for one fall and it is for the Pure Championship! Coming out first... hailing from St. George. He is .. RAGE RODRIGUEZ!
"Made Of Scars"By Stone Sour echoes through the EUW stadium. Smoke falls down from the top of the Titan Tron and onto the steel ramps. Rodriguez walks out in his normal attire which is red and black gym shorts, a back t-shirt, and his fists tapped up. Walking down to the ring he makes sure to shake the hands of all the fans on the left hand side. Spinning over to the right side of the ring apron he claps a few other audience members hands as well. He jumps onto the apron, and looks at the crowd while throwing up his hand with the palms slightly bended. Words written across his forehead reading, "Sickest". He then jumps over the top ropes and heads on into the ring.
J.J: That man is intense!
Larry: Yeah, Rage has been waiting for sometime for his moment to shine.
John Walt: And his opponent. Hailing from San Francisco, California. He is known as the Strategic Assassin. Stand up for .. XPLODE!
The camera feed switches to backstage. Xplode is seen coming out of his locker room with the Pure title around his waist. Taking a sip from his Monster energy drink, Xplode whips his hair back and steps through the entrance curtain. The crowd absolutely erupts as "Freak on a Leash" begins to play through the arena sound system. Standing on the entrance stage, Xplode takes another sip from his drink and then looks down at the Pure title. Flinging his hair back once more, Xplode stomps his way towards the ring while looking to each side of the arena. He stops as he reaches the ring apron and glares at Rage Rodriguez. Slowly removing the Pure title from his waist, Xplode kisses the belt and hands it to the official. Climbing up the metal steps, Xplode takes one last sip from his can and flings it out into the crowd. Entering the ring, Xplode waits for the bell as he bounces around in his corner.
(DING DING)
Larry: Now that is an intro.
As the ref calls for the match to begin, Rage does not await a signal. He quickly rushes Xplode to lay on a flying clothesline. Quickly realizing this, Xplode ducks out of the way and shoves Rage into the turnbuckle instead. Unleashing lefts and rights, Xplode lays it all out as he punishes Rage. The ref calls for a break.
J.J: This is a Pure rules match. They better watch those closed fists!
As the ref breaks up the onslaught, Xplode backs up only to have Rage fly into him with a drop kick from a standing position. Both men on the ground, Rage quickly recovers as he mounts Xplode and begins to rock him with punches of his own! The ref calls for a break so Rage rolls off of his enemy's body and stands back up.
Larry: Wow, this has turned into a pure street fight!
Now getting back to his feet, Rage gets a running start and deliver's a hellish Pele kick to Xplode's head sending the Strategic Assassin to the mat once more. Following it up, Rage quickly slaps on the figure four leg lock. Xplode screams in agony.
J.J: Can you see the determination on Rage's face! He wants that title more than anything.
Larry: The only problem is that I think Xplode might want it just as bad and we all know what he is capable of!
With the figure four leg lock firmly locked, Rage applies the pressure. Reaching for the ropes, Xplode desperately tries to break the hold. Matt does his best to pull Xplode back to center ring but Xplode's strength prevails. He uses all his might as he drags Rage to the ropes and calls for a rope break. Releasing the hold, Rage rises to his feet and stalks Xplode. Slowly rising, the crowd cheers him on as Xplode stands up, unknowingly being stalked by Rodriguez. Turning around, Rage kicks Xplode in the gut and lays a huge double arm DDT! Covering for the pin, Rage waits.
(1......2...) Xplode raises his arm to break the pin.
Climbing back on top, Rage begins pounding Xplode's face with fists. Grabbing the leg once more, Matt goes for the pin yet again.
(1....2..) Xplode kicks out.
Obviously annoyed, Rage rises to his feet and gets in the referee's face.
J.J: Don't wait, keep on him. Forget the referee!
Larry: When you face a man like Xplode, you can not afford to screw up.
Rising to his feet once more, Xplode tries to regain himself. Seeing this, Rage rushes Xplode and hits a knee strike to his face. As Xplode's head slams against the ground, blood is seen trickling from this corner of his mouth. Rage goes for the pin once more.
(1...2...) Xplode kicks out!
Larry: there is no give up in that man!
Getting to his feet, Rage signals for the infection. Xplode, now with a jaw covered by blood, rises to his feet once again. As Rage rushes Xplode, the unexpected happens! With a kick to the gut, Xplode strikes Rage sending him doubled over! Then, grabbing both of Rage's hips, Xplode lays a modified German Suplex on Rage! Both men rise quickly to there feet and run at each other. All hell breaks loose as the two men lay right and lefts without abandon.
J.J: This is a boxing match!
As Rage begins to succumb to Xplode's punches, he staggers backward as Xplode drops him with a knee strike of his own! Rage rolls along the floor towards the ropes. Both arms raised high, Xplode flexes as the crowd goes nuts! Rising to his feet, Rage is seen with his nose twisted and broken from the impact. The mat has become a tray of blood. Approaching Rage, Xplode slowly sets up each punch to the face of Rage then Irish whips him against the ropes. The two men clothesline each other at the same time! The referee counts as both men lay on their backs!
Larry: WOW!
J.J: Ladies and Gentlemen... this is what the Pure title is all about!
(1.....2......3)
The referee continues to count as both men lay still. With the crowd screaming, Rage suddenly rolls over and drapes his arm over Xplode's chest. The ref slides down to count.
(1.......2..) Xplode kicks out yet AGAIN!
With a look of pure exhaustion and covered in blood from his nose, Rage's eyes squint. Rising to his feet, he waits for Xplode to rise as he tries once again for his finisher. Rising as well, Xplode stands up. Grabbing Xplode Rage begins to use a hold when Xplode reverses it into a german suplex from behind. Pulling backwards, Xplode lifts Rage up only to be countered as Rage slides down Xplode's back to set up for a backpack stunner! Once again, Xplode reverses Rage's attempts and kicks him in the gut. The crowd goes nuts as Xplode nails him with the Drop Zone. He hooks the leg after the move for 1...2...3!
John Walt: Ladies and gentlemen here is your winner....and NEW EUW Pure Champion....Xplode!
Xplode receives the belt and begins to celebrate with it as Matt rolls out and exits the arena. After an overly lengthy celebration, Xplode finally makes his way to the back. Just as he exits, the lights in the arena go out, plunging Earls Court in total darkness. Many fans start to use their lighters in order to see and be seen, creating a sea of flickering flames. A low deep moan hits the speakers as many fans wonder what is going on. The giant television screen that dominates the entrance way flickers on with a grainy picture of a lone figure deep in shadow.
The screen then cuts to the words “Ceca Berth Kepis” that have been pestering EUW for the past week. Many fans start to speak to themselves as they wonder exactly what is going on. The words on the screen then start to move and jumble up rapidly across the screen. Making the word “Brace Skeptic Eh” then jumbling up again and making the words “Bract Hicks Epee”. The words then carry on spinning round on the screen as suddenly the words “He’s back” are whispered on the speakers.
Suddenly a large explosion occurs on the stage as Be quiet and drive (Far Away) by Deftones blares over the speakers. The screen then flashes with the words “The Creep is back” as a strobe light flashes on the stage and the heavy guitar explodes over Earls Court. A large figure draped in a long leather coat appears on the ramp way as the crowd cheers and boos. The Creeps face is then lit up with one single spot light as the arena is drenched in a dark blue light. Creep then lifts his arms up in the air and swings his hair back. He shouts loudly at the crowd and walks towards the ring, his music still blaring across the arena.
JJ: OH MY GOD!
Larry: Holy shit! When the hell did he get back here!
The Creep climbs into the ring and grabs a mic. The crowd still with mixed reactions Creep stands with arms in the air as the house lights come back on. Laughing Creep starts to address the crowd in his usual tar tainted voice.
Well it’s been a while…… Now I know I said that you wouldn’t see me in an EUW ring again but as I say promises are meant to be broken. But to be honest I really wanted to return at this time because I feel EUW has been lacking without my presence. I brought destruction but also respect to this company and now I can see that it is in need of some more of this. So as of now in my home country of England I officially make my return to EUW, and whoever wants to fight me I tell them this “Bring it!”
Creep drops the mic to the floor and slides out of the ring as his entrance music plays. He climbs into the crowd who are appreciative of his return and runs to the back.
JJ: Wow well that was a shock.
Larry: It sure was, The Creep back in EUW! I can hardly believe it.
JJ: I just, wow. I don’t even know what to say. I’m speechless Larry! Speechless!
